Since this is the tank board ... it's very difficult for PS3 / PC controller players to move away from the boss while throwing Shield Lobs (e.g. spin jumping while running away).
Yeah...PS4 Beta test is not until Feb 22nd (I think it is the 22nd) so how could they ship the FINAL game at the end of December...they can't...that info has to be wrong. PS4 should look even more amazing because it is built to handle everything so much better and just like a PC we would all hope or at least very...very close to PC. I do not know what the graphic difference will look like...I wish I knew someone know that had it for PC so that I could compare.
Server: BEHEMOTH
FC: CASCADIA
Playing since Beta phase 3
Just turn on auto-face target and you will spin to throw your shield without skipping a beat...you don't even need to jump.
Yeeaaahhh - That was my deal with all the sarcastic "?!"s in the OP : D I have heard March '14.
Anywho, I think PS3 looks fine, I'm not a huge graphics person. My concern is solely rooted in my issue with: I hit Spirits Within...I hold my breath...Spirits Within starts animating....I hold my breath....Spirits Within hits....I hold my breath...High Voltage kills everyone. Damnit. When I watch YouTube vids of PC players I think I can perceive a noticeable difference, but I wanted to see if anyone had made the switch or anything to let me know for sure.
My PS4 is collecting dust until FF14 comes out on it.. Lol
Wrong part of the forum
Apologies my OP was unclear - I was looking for the opinion I would value most on the matter, from the perspective of a tank. Meaning, what advantages does PC have over PS3 for tanking specifically? i.e. being able to walk backwards, button mapping, latency on specific mechanics, etc.
use ssd on your ps3, helps a lot
