Was curious with if anyone has attempted to beat Turn 2 with defeating all Nodes?
Split into 2 Parties of 4 - Kill all Nodes - Meet up at ADS?
Since Turn 3 is so strange, I'm curious if by doing Turn 2 Extreme, if it would pop a different Turn 3.

I don't think it would be possible to clear all of the Nodes and ADS in the Clicks you're given. You'd also need a group that consists of two BRDs and two PLDs to handle the silences, not to mention some pretty insane DPS.
My group has actually thought about this or taking the other route. Problem is the buffs the last ADS would obtain like haste. It maybe possible when we get higher stated/level gear in the future but right now I don't believe it is possible. You wouldn't need really 2 bards/2 paladins SCH can control Selenes silence if given the time to practice it because you have to fire it off as soon as high voltage is being cast.

Right, I was just using that setup for ease of silencing. One slip up by a SCH silencing Voltage (or anyone for that matter) and it could negate any chance of clearing all Nodes and ADS.My group has actually thought about this or taking the other route. You are going to be running 1 PLD, 1 healer, 2 DPS (probably 1 BRD for 2nd silence and then whatever i guess, BLM?)
2 DPS can't kill a node before a tank reaches 8 stacks, actually the tank will probably reach 8 stacks at like 65% of the mobs life remaining.
I think you'd have to stay together for ease of kills. Chain -> Firestorm -> Ballast -> Void -> Rot, at least your TP will recover if everyone sprints from Firestorm to Ballast. I think beating all 6 mini-nodes before ADS is currently possible, I think that at -most- you'd have 2 minutes remaining, 4 MNK might be able to get there with 3 minutes remaining since Void is the Blunt defense but to beat a Hasted ADS I don't think you'd want any meele, and the 2nd tank would only be in Cannons range when it would be his turn to silence as escaping them is impossible (or during a tank transition). (or I guess BRDs could do it)
The haste also affects the speed of High Voltage, so you have to be really really really spot on to silence it, people probably won't be able to dodge piercing lasers either, and the tanks will get stacks quicker on ADS. Its a lot more damage intake against the final node for sure. I think before trying to even theorize if beating it with all nodes dead, first you might want to see how far you can get into a hasted ADS.
Stoneskin prevents stacks and bringing along a couple of monks with their fast silence attack might be quick enough to get through the hasted high voltage.Split parties of 4 runs into its own issue though.

The actual extreme mode is keeping the fire/chain lightning nodes up and yes we have been working on it. Its harder than twintania in my own opinon but its definetly possible weve gotten to 25%
Killing all the nodes actually makes the fight easier because nothing to dodge but the laser which is doable.

When we were going for the world first we actually were trying to fight it while it still had Chain Lightning and Firestream with 2 MNK 2 DRG as our DPS. I think we got it to about maybe 20ish% back then, without any relic+1's, but we determined with 4 melee it was easier to just kill both the Ballast and Firestream nodes to eliminate both from causing problems for melee albeit a lot more tight on time. Unless that Chain Lightning is brutal on ADS (it was really long ago, I can't remember exactly), I would think a full ranged set up having a fairly easy time unless perhaps the difficulty lies in when it casts the Chain during a Rot pass, and that causes someone to just fall over from getting nuked. In our set up of 4 melee, the Chain wouldn't bounce because the only people at ranged were 2 healers, spaced out.
I imagine it would be pretty tough. At least ADS would have no extra skills. To help with stacks it might be possible to use a melee DPS with Provoke to hold hate. 2 Bard. 2 PLD. 2 melee DPS. Healers.
Well without full Allagan to use on a class it might be better to use 2PLD 2WAR 2BRD Heals. Dps gear on the tanks for the nodes. Then gear swap on ADS to tank gear. Then you can deal with the stacks, silence, damage. The tanks can stance swap.
Hard to imagine anything new would be hidden. But SE likes alternate endings etc
