My girlfriend just decided not to renew this month. I can't play with her because I'm always locked out due to coil and except from coil, there is nothing to do at max level.

Yea we can level ANOTHER class with brainless fate grinding (which is not done with a friend, for sure), you can level a crafting!! (which is not done with friends), a gathering (which is not done with friends) or you can OMG MAKE A LEVEQUEST TOGHETHER (sorry I can do all of them at max level alone).

I'm full i90 but I still run AK/WP because I enjoy playing the game. I try to spark up a conversation here and there, and building a gil stockpile(for no real reason).

You can help people. I help with Chimera/Hydra all the time because it's nice to help people, and I just enjoy playing SMN.

I just looked at your character profile and you still need to 5-meld some gear, still have plenty 90 to get. Have you even been in coil? I see a ring, but not anything else.

There's many ways to earn gil. I would presume you don't like crafting/gathering, but you can farm Philo tomes to sell. "But that means more AK/WP!"
No, it doesn't. There's lots of ways to get tomes, and if you enjoyed the game you wouldn't have to always take the optimal path.

Try dungeons. Shockingly, it's 4 person content designed for leveling.

No, it doesn't. There's lots of ways to get tomes, and if you enjoyed the game you wouldn't have to always take the optimal path.

COIL, yes I've been in coil multiple times and THAT'S the only thing I still do in game.

I don't have gear pieces because I'm unlucky, lol. Well, I need only boots and earring than everything must come from myth. I dropped boots but something bad happened in guild forcing me to pass on those -.-'
Helping people was what I was doing up till now that I'm getting really boring. Running AK/WP sorry I liked AK a lot, but now it's too much, also forcing me to do it every week doesn't help (we have run it over 1000 times probably? I have no idea).
I geared up my SCH (full), got relic, geared up SMN, Working on a BLM but really from level 46 to 50 fate grinding is killing me.

Old level dungeons are not that fun because skills are take away and SMN gets more boring and boring the lower level you are (less things to do), same for SCH.

I chat a lot with my guild, but I do it on teamspeak instead of wasting electrical power and lifespan of my GPU just for the sake of chatting in game.
Money? I have 700k gils, they are not a lot but I don't have any reason to get more money. Yes I'm not interested in housing, that's a personal preference. I'm interested in encounters (and that's what the game is focused on, infact you don't have to craft to follow the main storyline, neither build a house. You have to fight), they are good, but there isn't anything new right now.

Yea I like coil turn 4 (turn 1-2-3 are easier than titan, I didn't like them so much).
Notice that I have 1 crafting level 50 and fishing level 50. Mining is at 24 because it's not that fun (fishing was much more interesting).
No purpose in selling tomes at the moment °°

I can 5 meld a piece of gear for what purpose? I'll get the belt next week and once I'll drop boots I'm full 90 on left side. Farming for a single piece of gear is not fun if what you have to do is not fun (anymore). Also my dps is rather high for turn 4, we need other people to raise their dps but it's ok in any case. Don't want to overgear myself for coil otherwise it's too easy and becomes boring :P

I'll get astral ring with usual farming of myth during weeks, in 2 weeks I'll have it and I'll put materias there.
But still all things you mentioned are not that fun to do (anymore), I mean, really, GRINDING DUNGEONS I'VE DONE THOUSANDS TIMES is not fun. I don't know what you expect from a game but I expect more so I was thinking to unsubscribe till new update. The only things keeping me from doing this is loyal to my guild, that's all.
If you mean the combat system, it's a really common combat system (most MMORPGs have the exact same combat system). What's well done in this game is the encounter design, but after you have done titan multiple times (I still love it anyway) it gets more boring the more times you do it and I don't want to force myself. I don't want to ruin my titan-memories, I like the feeling that battle gives me and I don't want to become too expert to not find any challenge in it anymore.

But what happened with my girlfriend is indeed very bad, as I stated in another topic, the game is anti-social at the moment because the things you do alone are much more than the things you can do with a party. Sure you can gather toghether with a people but that won't change anything, you can't "engage" the same mining spot to get something bigger or different.

"Enjoy the game", yes I like the game up till now but it feels like I've done everything interesting. The remaining part of it is just like "achievements" (aka: FILLER) not something useful or really important game-wise. I hate achievements it's like you are trying to do something for a text message =P

I consider unsubscribing for 2 weeks probably and re-subscribe once new content is out.

I dont see how you dont see that hes done everything interesting?. Maybe he should run WP another 500 times, deal with months of coil for the chance to get allagan gear, level another class and more crafting, I guess repeating things hes already done would make the game more interesting. /shrug

He hasn't done enough to even be allowed to say "i have done everything interesting", if he can't find anything besides Coil and the next incoming raid dungeon, he should most definitely just unsub, because he can't enjoy the whole game without limiting himself to just one small tiny part, it's just wasting his time and making himself suffer
