Pretty unfair. They can't just give some a restoration and ignore others.
I would be more satisfied if they started offering the actual service instead of this item restoration workaround.
Considering people who had months pass since their last phial use got theirs restored, I suggest people state this when they wanna contact a GM. Basically state that you are unhappy with your change and you wish to use your 1 time item restoration policy feature and that there have been plenty of people getting theirs back, while others were rejected, regardless of when the phial was used.
I'm gonna try that at least. Because unfortunately, looks are important to me in game and it's making me not wanna log in anymore because i hate how my character looks. x.x
EDIT: So, just got confirmation from an SE representative that they WILL be restoring my Phial of Fantasia. They have sent the information to GMs and will catch me in game to place the item in my inventory. There's no specific day this will happen, so I gotta play the waiting game.
And I used my first Fantasia about 2 1/2 months ago. So....yaaaaaaaaaayyy!! So excited !! ^__^

well i sent in a ticket yesterday....all i got was a few paragraph long reply telling me to use the vendor buyback feature and how lost items can be restored, its quite clear to me that they did not even read my ticket and only saw the word "restoration" in the title
edit: lol i tried to reply to said ticket and to my surprise...it was actually closed

So I pretty much said that I used my phial 2 1/2 months ago, that I was unaware of the 10 day restoration restriction, and that I was unhappy with my choice of race/consumption of the item. I also stated, and this is VERY important, that I wanted to use my 1 time item restoration policy feature for this request. I feel like THIS is what nailed me my success. I also stressed how I understand this restoration can only be used ONCE per account.
How I contacted them was:
1) Log into the game.
2) Press 'Escape' then press 'Support Desk'.
3) At the bottom, right-hand corner of that 'Support Desk' window, click on 'Search Database'.
4) Look for "How to contact a Game Master" and click on that.
5) At the bottom, right-hand corner of that window, click on "Ask Question"
6) Title your request as: "1 time Phial of Fantasia Restoration" or something.
7) Proceed to type in whatever you'd like regarding your inquiry.

well the 2nd ticket got a clean flat out nope, "consumption has been too long ago"
in that ticket i had included the aprox date used with a note that people had theirs restored long past the 10 day limit
not sure i should even bother with a 3rd one as its going to get the same reply anywayz

If this thing has 84 pages of comments, I'll add in my "I support this."
I cannot understand why someone would withhold the distribution of a digital item, whose purpose is to enrich the gameplay experience on an aesthetic level, from the people who want but cannot obtain a new one.
The current planned Athestician is insufficient for the mistakes I'd like to fix, and an unspecified post-2.1 date for the Fantasia service is unfavorable. Please find a way to distribute more Phials of Fantasia in 2013!
