Healer Gearing Question!

So I'm approaching my myth cap for the week and I have this stock pile of myth that I don't know what I want to do with it but I'm down to two options: 1. Upgrade up to relic +1 or 2. cap this weeks and go a little into next weeks and buy two pieces of AF2. My question is: which do you guys think is better?

I would be gaining a bigger upgrade in stats if I chose two get two pieces of AF2 but the damage bonus going up from relic to relic +1 would also greatly increase my healing. Any help guys?

As a scholar I'd go for AF2 before upgrading your relic. As the Coil sch weapon is superior (granted much harder to get) so you'd be replacing the +1 at some point.

i would advise the opposite and go for +1. although things might get a little trickier with 2.1 depending on how good the extreme primal weapons are for each class, potentially opening up an alternative or even superior weapon choice without having to spend any myth

The chance of getting an Allagan SCH Book is around 11%, not to mention how much you're gimping yourself and your party as you work on clearing Coil if you don't have a +1 weapon. The AF+1 gives a minor upgrade, the weapon +1 gives a MAJOR upgrade (to throughput).

Go for the weapon.

Go for myth gear with Crit on it first as a Scholar. Chest, belt, jewelry.

Relic+1>Chest/Legs>Accessories should probably be your order of gearing. Since healing is affected by weapon damage, that gives you the best power out of anything.

I have the same query as well. I have three pieces of vanya healing gear (approaching 4th piece next week when I farmed enough animal fat for the vanya beeches). I was wondering, should I put savage aim materia on them? Is there a soft cap or any kind of cap for crit, which as some point I would need to stop getting crit and go for something else?

P.S. I intend on getting full vanya, and getting full DL accessories.
