The issue isn't that these things won't happen eventually, the issue is that they aren't happening - in the words of a wise forum goer - right FRIGGIN NOW.
If one task is "Create a mount system" and another is "Create a world that has places actually worth visiting with a mount", the order in which you prioritize these tasks should be apparent even to you.
LOL.
A mount doesnt help you visit places. It helps you travel faster.
Besides, you kind of missed the point of this thread. Again, you think SE incapable of releasing multiple things without having to "ration" their manpower.
Wada needs to put more staff into FFXIV if that is the case.
Haha
You think throwing more bodies at the game will do it good? It will only slow them down.
And more importantly, SE is working on multiple things at once- things that take the longest to develop, but make improving the game easier for them later.
If this is the kind of complaints you come up with, the game is in good hands.
Because computer programming totally work in that way.LOL.

"Hey guys have a bunch of new guys in your team. No one of those have never seen your code nor worked with your tool, but they'll do WONDERS!"
Btw fool, yoshi itself said the team work on different aspects of game in parallel, but at the current time the major sources are allocated on 1.18, with is coming NOW and need HUGE TESTING. That don't mean the others area are stopped thou, they go slower until testing is gone
This is a classic flawed logic that is often summed up in the idea that one woman can have a baby in nine months. Therefore, nine women should be able to pull this off in a month...right? Throwing more people at a problem will not always solve it faster.
SE is working on multiple things at once, they do have different teams. The thing is, they are working on more important things than Jumping (please, please SE never implement this), or Mounts (we already have instant teleportation to damn near anywhere you have ever been) and neither of these have ever been an issue for me (and I am sure that many people feel the same). Instead they are working on things that are more important, such as content, core combat features, and class/job functionality. They are prioritising the things that matter because no matter how many teams you assign the project, there will always be features that are less important than others so need to be pushed aside for the ones that will make or break the game.
