    Oh I know, if I did higher level stuff I wouldn't use that gear. Then again, I don't do it. I got up to Stone Vigil just to hit lv45 with one job so I could be able to do the Lightning event and get the lv13 armor piece, I'm content now. I don't see me doing anything of high level content any soon^^; I enjoy other aspects of the game.

    I have seen this a lot in Longstop. Hell I have thought about doing it myself. Having to fight the urge every time.

    See, I only need the batlemages hat. Which only comes from the chest that is after the giant eft/dragon fight. I need nothing else. So why keep going in the raid? I have yet to drop out when the item does not drop or I don't get it but I have seen others do this NUMEROUS times. Left with the party breaking because it is usually the tank doing this. Even had a tank replace another tank, see where we were in the run, then leave himself.

    SE seriously needs to randomize the chest drops on ALL mid level chests. I am fine with some items only dropping from the boss but all other chest loot pools need t switch around every run.

    How long are you planning on using that toto-rak gear?
    You know you can't get EVERYTHING from grand company vendors
    but its better right? Sure you need some gear from dungeons too
    for the pieces you can't get, but if this is really bothering people that much, tell them this.

    um maybe people just like to collect the armor??? i have full sets of armor from the first 3 dungeons and the sets from brayflox. 1. because vanity slots and 2. because i can. i'd love to see toto rak addressed as i have been in the OP's situation there before trying to get the elusive torturers set.

    I want the tank set too from Totorak, but I NEVER SAW ONE piece dropped EVER. There is something very wrong on the loot tables.

    Maybe for 2nd coeurl a random pink, then two chests at the final boss? One for weapon, the other for the random green?

    How about everything drops from the gold chest after the last boss?

    Each time you loot a blue chest, it adds equipment and allagan pieces to the boss chest. Easy way to explain it is that you're fighting the clock, so you grab whatever is in the blue chest and keep moving. You only have time to examine the loot when the boss dies.


    Chest 1: Chest piece
    Chest 2: Ring
    Chest 3: Gloves
    Chest 4: Boots
    Chest 5: Necklace
    Chest 6 (boss): Weapon

    If you only loot chests 1, 4, and 5, You only get the chest piece, boots, and necklace (along with any allagan pieces that drop from the same chests) when you kill the boss and loot the gold chest.

    This would force people to stay for the entire dungeon rather than quit when their gear doesn't drop from a specific chest.

    Just adding this there to bump up the thread. I've noticed several bugs in the dungeon as well.

    Several times in the run, killing a monster will result in the display of the message "An opening has formed in the sticky web!" (This, by killing monsters, not webs.)

    More rarely, but nonetheless discomforting, if a play is too far behind when a Sticky Web is destroyed, when they'll walk up to it the Web will still be there, non-targetable, non-destroyable, and will be blocking the player's passage. After having this happening to me and others about 3 times, we found out this can be fixed by logging out and back in, but I still think it'd be best to address the issue so that it doesn't occur anymore.

    This leads me to think, maybe the coffers dropping no Etheral Armor is also a bug? Could have SE seriously messed up that much with a dungeon? I may post this up in the Bugs Report too.
