Why should I renew my subscription?

Do you find the current game enjoyable? If you don't you should probably unsub until the game is in such a state that you will find it enjoyable.
The CT delay was explained by the devs and I don't think it's going to set a precedent of 'regressing' the game.
You say you want to progress but don't want to level another class, what exactly do you define as progression?

There is no reason to renew at least not on a monthly basis, that why you should join us and stop renewing. I am not sure there are that many player will fall into the group they try to carter with 2.1, I was lv zero at relaunch, i play a few hours a day and I lved up inside dungeon, even I have 2 job at 50 and beating coil in 50 mins and run out of fun things to do.
Is there really that many people not at least beating half of coil and will be beating in a few weeks?
Is there really enough interest for lower challenge content?
Are there players only play a few hours a week and happy to pay a sub for it?

This is the only game that is regressing as time goes by. Releasing lower level content instead of moving forward. It's ridiculous, I don't understand the logic behind making Crystal Tower only level 80, and not being able to raid with 24 players of your choosing. They have had months to address this issue which I complained about from the start, and this is the 2nd launch for this game, and they still seem to be repeating mistakes from 1.0.

I don't want vanity items, and it's not even vanity, in order to have to wear the lower level gear, you gotta unequip your higher level gear. I don't want to level up another class(leveling is too grindy to be enjoyable, I can only replay the same fates so much). I want to progress, experience new content to make my character stronger, not weaker. Yes, extreme primal modes look fun, but those are boss fights that are already been beaten by me about 100 times.

I don't understand this going backwards content, no other MMO in the history of games would have done this. Do you think WoW, LoTRO or even FFXI would last this long if they kept releasing content that's lower level than currently available?

SE, it seems you are doing everything possible to drive away your playerbase. You worked years rebuilding this game from the dumpster fire that was 1.0, and most of my FC are not renewing their subscriptions.

Yoshi, you said that you will never make your game F2P, because subscription fees ensure quality content released at set intervals. So, again, why release content that sets you backwards in progression?

There's been a couple new threads recently about so far outgearing old content that you can LOL in its face.

I wanted to say this in a few of them, but I really didn't want to jab at people's fun, and respectable achievements:

It speaks volumes for this game that the most fun thing geared people have to do is laugh in old content's face. I used to tank instances in wow on ret paladin. I used to heal with holy nova. I never took to the forums with my accomplishments, because they weren't. But there were plenty of things to keep you busy.

Here, there isn't, and the content they intend to release has famously inferior gear. (Not alternative gear, inferior gear.)

CT drops 80, unless you have full i90 that's already better gear that DL (potentially better than pentamelded hq i70 too).

Extreme Mode Primals chain will give you an i90 weapon, thats an alternative to your Relic +1.

EM Primals also drop ~something else~ which could easily be i80-i90.

We don't even KNOW what Ultima is going to drop.

Seriously, what is it you people want? All the alternative paths for gear upgrading to be there from the get-go? The POINT (that I feel, for some reason, has gone over many people's heads) of 2.0 and even 2.1 is to get non-Legacy players on level with Legacy players. That way, instead of creating content for the "Hardcore" or "Casuals", they can group them together and still have a nice and fluid leveling/gearing experience. Seriously, DL used to have a 1%-2% drop rate and now you get it from a farmed tome system - WHY do you think that is? The furthest Legacy players can go at the moment is Coil and by the end of 2.1 many, many non-Legacy players will either be progressing in Coil or having it on farm. And what does that do? Yep, puts everyone on equal level.

Edit: Though I sort of understand WHY they released AF+1 gear and Relic +1, I really don't think they should have. You'll notice AF+1 is just a recolor of AF (seriously, all of them) and Relic +1 is just the NQ Relic, but with a glowing affect. Maybe I'm wrong but for some reason that sounds like they quickly rushed that in the game because CT had to be held back and they didn't want everyone's final end game challenge to be "beat Titan, struggle for a long time in Coil, rely on RNG to get you better gear upgrades for a long time, then maybe down T5 before 2.1 is released". Unfortunately, because they did this, many groups now have 1-5 on farm. The twister nerf didn't help that. Now you have people in full i90 without much to do because SE expected far less people to have Coil on farm, even with the gear upgrade path of Allagan + Myth.

Speaking of Allagan, though, Myth and Allagan are alternative i90 paths. So add that to the list.

i wont be renewing my sub til the new update. this shit is old and stagnant, and even when the new update comes out it doesn't look like there will still be much progressing to do.. 30 days to play new SHIT then onto something better. this game was not what i was expecting.
