    Here are my questions.

    Are there any plans for group related gathering content, as was hinted in early development?
    Are there any plans to release gathering nodes higher than Grade 5 for Miners and Botanists "As well as populate the 6-10 nodes for fishing?
    Are there any plans to bring in new ways to gain SP for gathering classes? IE: New types of Leves or some other form of SP gain.
    Are there any future plans to integrate the gathering classes into a more co-operative scenario, or will gathering remain a mainly solo activity?

    If fishing a body of water, does the type of bait effect everything or are some types of fish attracted more to some types of bait?
    I've noticed I get a lot of the same type of fish with some baits, especially ones that give the message something big hits your line.

    Which areas would be considered ocean other than the ferry?
    Chocobo fly and other lures do not say where is best to use, are these all purpose like rat tails?
    Are there plans to add water type to lures that currently don't list favored?
    Will gathering leves be adjusted to make them worthwhile for SP?
    Currently they seem a waste of time and Guardian Aspect for little SP reward.

    Will the mini games become different for each gathering class?
    Seriously, is anyone not totally bored of the same hot and cold game on all 3 classes?

    Have any of you (the development team) worked outdoors in leather?
    Ha ha, sorry, had to ask, it's very silly to wear anything but cloth even for underground mining.

    Grade 6 nodes. Can I have it?
    In the future, will I be able to fish up mobs on the ferry rides? If so, and I'm KOed (dang you, Anglers!), would I return to the last aetheryte I touched, or complete the boat ride?
    Are any epic fish swimming into the waters of Eorzea?
    Can we expect more high level gathering gear? Or even (gasp!) NM gear for gathering classes?
    Some gathering leves require you to gather from nodes that are apparently magnets for high level mobs or NMs. Will those mobs or gathering nodes be moved?

    Some fish are attracted to certain kinds of bait. Whenever you get the message that "The fish seem to be biting on [bait type]," that means that fish really likes your bait.

    The areas along the Western edge of Thanalan and along the outside of Limsa Lominsa are ocean fishing.

    Chocobo flies are for freshwater (lakes and rivers).

    My questions are related to item quality. Why are we still seeing NQ, +1, +2 and +3 items in the game? Items obtained through gathering see the brunt of this. Why aren't they simply NQ and +1 items?

    There are still many quality versions of the same item that can be gathered (NQ, +1, +2, +3). This was addressed with monster drops (NQ and +3). Will this be addressed with gathering?
    Item quality has been somewhat addressed with monster drops. +1 was converted to NQ and +2 was converted to +3. However, this is still confusing since NQ and +3 items lead to the logical conclusion that +1 and +2 items must still exist. Why aren't all HQ items simply converted to +1, which will not only be more concise but also alleviate inventory space issues?

    In order to improve SP gain above rank 40, could gathering leves be given star ratings that would adjust to difficulty, via adding hostile spawns around nodes, and the rank difficulty of the node?
    This can make eluder abilities and escorts/team play more valuable.

    In order to improve SP gain above rank 40, could gathering leves be more effectively linked, so that more people = more items to gather in the leve and possibly... shared SP gain?
    Quite frankly the link/share option, although available, is broken for DoL and needs a full revamp.

    Can there be a feature gatherers can purchase with guild marks to scan for harvesting, quarrying, and spearfishing nodes?
    Can the stats or quality of offhand tools ever allow improved item targeting or aiming?
    It is presently extremely random for aim or success. at R40+ Botanist I still frequently miss even on grade 1 harvesting.

    Can a high-rank dairy food be implemented for perception boost?
    Highest perception food is rank 20-ish blue cheese which is so basic that it can be purchased from a vendor.

    Can a larger variety of output, gathering and perception gear be implemented to allow DoL to stack stats more effectively based on "favors" and "requires" functionality?
    To add challenge to this, some components may require outside support, such as the Mosshorn Scalemail requiring NM drop and high- level crafting to create.
    To that end...

    Could the stats on this Mosshorn Scalemail be rebalanced to benefit gatherers?
    It has a very niche functionality as it is right now, so people simply do not consider mosshorn a worthwhile Notorious Monster. Making the piece of significant benefit to gatherers (i.e. better than linen coatee or tarred leather jerkin) would indirectly make Mosshorn far more competitive of a target.

    Gathering Abilities and future :

    Will Chocobo digging ever be implemented into the gathering ?
    Currently you have sneak skills that only allow you to pass one enemy of a certain kind of enemies. Will Beastkin Eluder or Seedkin Eluder ever be adjusted?
    Currently for botanist and miner we have skills that say increased chance at certain crystals i.e Byregot's Ward but these skills do not provide us with crystals at all. Are these skills mislabeled or is there plans to readjust them?

    What are the effects of attributes on gathering?
    For my next question I think it would be a good idea for me first to give some reference to the question. I am unsure how many people are aware of this technique since I see few people actually do it. With the current game mechanics it is possibly to keep up a node indefinitely by cycling through four nodes instead of three. I like to call this the 4 node trick. With this trick you don't even have to gather. All you have to do is open up the gather mini game and back out. If you do that on four nodes it will reset the first node. This also means you don't have to completely finish gathering from a node thus never exhausting it. This also makes it extremely convenient when your targeting specific items. So this brings me to my question,

    Is what I call the four node trick intentional?

    Great idea! Here's my question:

    If you have to keep Gathering Fatigue, would you consider a new activity like "Restoring" to let all Gatherers continue to gain Skill Points (SP) without gaining items?
    This would be like "Restoring the Trees" or "Restoring / strengthening Mineral Veins" or "Restoring the Ocean." It would be an activity that does *not* have to yield Items, but will let Gatherers continue to earn SP without the hidden Fatigue.
