Heal-per-heal, yes, sadly, there's more to the equation than that, and you choosing to ignore it does nothing to help your credibility.the 30 MND SCH will always outheal a SCH who went 15/15 or all on INT no matter what.
On top of that, the difference is so minor I doubt you'll be able to tell outside of parses, even when looking at the numbers religiously - and DEFINITELY not when your tank is ping-ponging from 100 to 20. You're trying to tell me you'll notice if your heal heals for 3% more than the guy next to you? Get real.
Smaller, faster heals have their own benefits. Just because you ignore them doesn't mean they aren't there. Why would smaller heals be better just because you can gauge them?
If my heal is that much smaller, yes, it's much easier for me to top people off mana-efficiently. Burst healing obviously isn't as mana efficient (since you have to drop 1.5x as many heals to match the HPS), but with the numbers we're talking about, more effective. Besides, according to you mana isn't an issue in your next sentence. Both a 1k Physick and a 500 one use the exact same amount of MP but I guess you can always gauge you'll need two Physicks instead of just one that can do above 1k and overheal most of the time right?
Enmity isn't a point at all. You'll only generate more enmity if you're actually putting out more HPS. I didn't mention it, not sure why you did. That's just silly, plus enmity and MP are rarely if ever an issue as a SCH, even less of an issue if you have a good tank and manage your fairy manually like you should.
It's about opportunity cost and tradeoffs. Realistically you won't notice the difference between +30 INT and +30 MND when you heal, so spending 10k Seals every time you want to heal is absurd. 5k, 2k even is probably pushing it. A piece of gear you can wear perpetually is a different story. Also what's the point of getting an Argute Gown with 29 MND when you can just plainly skip it and heal naked then?
In addition, throwing a temper tantrum and demanding SE change it NAO CUZ UNFAIR over something that small is silly and childish.
Welcome to the gearing game. The idea is to get enough gear that what you do DOES change drastically enough to notice.I mean sure it has some other stats in there that also help out but if anything it's even worse design that main stats don't have that big of an impact
Thresholds, remember.
Do agree with this. It's silly, but it's obnoxious to min/maxers (read: every serious raider ever)Well, it's definitely not a game-breaking mechanic, but I see no reason to keep it as it is.
