Turn 5 Snake Phase, How?

There are a lot of different ways to handle the snakes. We still go with staggering out the Disseminate debuffs to ramp up DPS on Asclepius; when he gets hit by LB2 along with the second set of Hygieia, I believe he is already at around 60-65% (sometimes lower, sometimes a lot lower). The timing generally ends up being: first Hygieia dies ASAP, second Hygieia dies as first stack of Disseminate is <10 seconds (usually around the first or second divebomb in the second set of divebombs), third Hygieia dies immediately almost after getting into position (LB2 drops it very low then it dies shortly thereafter), fourth Hygieia dies, kill Asclepius. When we stagger out the second Hygieia kill to stretch out Disseminate, we have one DPS (usually a BLM due to Manawall) watch the timing and make sure it dies.

around 65-70%, and the first set of Hygieia are ~70% each.

Mega-potions of STR/DEX/INT can make the difference between 5-10% remaining and a clean kill before Twintania drops, if you're not already using them.

i am using mega-potions, but i don't know if the other 3 DPS are using it too. will ask them later.


also, is it possible to tank Asclepius with 4 stacks of debuff on the tank? that's the other part of our problem, by the way. our tanks get 4 stacks most of the time and the healers are having a hard time keeping them alive. can you guys draw me your tank's position, if you have free time please?

Yes, we have our OT tank Asclepius since they have CDs available to burn on it, though I'm not exactly sure on their rotation but I don't think it should be too hard to manage.

yes its possible, I main tank Twin and the big snake, that means i have to save my cooldowns for when Twin comes back down (I do pop convalesces to help curing, worst case scenario I might pop rampart if i get too low) . Usually the mages can put up Virus on the big snake and Eye for an Eye for the main tank, Brds may put up Rain of Death but i don't think that's wise because it sorta kills their DPS. By that time there's only one mob on the field, just have your healers cure bomb the tank until it dies.
