    Yes. Fun in a videogame is completely unheard of. Content is useless if people aren't getting new gear progression. (Although based off of how people were flipping out when they thought they were gonna turn Allagan gear to iLvl95 and feeling that'd make all their current gear useless..... it's hard to say new gear is what they want even though they want it.)

    tl;dr, players the majority of the time never know 'what' they want.

    The saying 'the customer is always right'.... anyone who actually has a job knows that's the largest sack of BS of a lie there is. It's usually the opposite lol.

    That saying is what gets people to come back to their store. Even though they maybe wrong, you have to make the illusion that they are right, so they will keep coming back. If you tell them they are wrong, there is a big possibility that they may not come back to your store.

    In a MMO's case, Yes we are customers, but the game can only go in a certain direction. Not EVERYONE's direction. It's hard to use that saying in a MMO. Game companies can only "Do their best" to please you.
