So unless they remove lockouts for coil I fail to see how Crystal Tower could not help people out. There are two bards on my coil team, we've seen one single piece of bard gear drop in all this time. ONE. If I were relying on Coil to gear up in i90 I would not be doing so great (I'm not), however I am assuming that CT will not have lock-outs and once you try your lotto of Coil drops you can proceed to run CT to try and gear up slots you are needing upgrades for or alt jobs.

This allows you to work on BiS gear AND fill out slots you want upgrades for all in the same week, it's madness I tell you. There is only so much myth to go around and for all I know I wasted it on bard which they may nerf into oblivion with this patch. However I have some allagan/DL for my DRG and MNK so if we need to change the job line up then Crystal tower will help me get them Coil ready that much faster.

Not sure how you do it? I play 4-5 hours a day ( but then again I started from scratch) and I got DRG to 50 w/ Relic and 1 Darklight piece . If you still using your legacy Character then that's why you are able to get done so fast in a short amount of time.

I do play differently, I don't go into a dungeon right after I got finished with one for instance, I take a break look at the sights talk to FC etc.

This completely! With Coil being limited ( gearing only 1 class with ilvl90 gear), CT has plenty of use to gear up your other classes, not to mention the storyline that's attached to CT.

No, it has not been casual since conception. Though with its current route it seems he is swaying from that statement and catering to the "Kawaii" Weeaboo crowd that only cares about the "Kawaii" veteran reward minions, and mounts, all stuff that is frivolous. It's going to bleed subscriptions, but like I said, its become a niche game like XI, it might even die eventually. This game had so much potential, sucks to see it happen. Yoshi lied.

SE needs to put way more effort and love in this game. As for now I'm pretty underwhelmed actually.
It was hyped and praised by SE like something really big, but so far they failed to deliver.

I hate how the official forums just show the extremes of the community, people who are jaded beyond relief and complain about eh-vry-thing, then the people who refuse to find fault in anything because it means realising the game isn't perfect.

Not all of us feel the need to rush the every loving hell out of the game.

A community that is concerned with the direction of the game is usually a community that is focused on some form of endgame content.

Not everyone wants to level every craft class to 50. Not everyone wants to level another class to 50.

But if you don't like a game, it is okay to unsubscribe.

I quit my raid team in World of Warcraft in the middle of HC progression. That kind of thing always feels shitty, especially when you're only forking over $15 every month to help these people out that you've been playing with for a long time even though you hate the game. But just like, after all the whining and my lack of enthusiasm it just wasn't worth doing anymore; I was becoming a detriment to our group rather than an asset.

They are still pissed off about it (with these people for like half a year and gkick overnight lol) but I mean that's kind of the reason why I stopped playing. The quality of content was shit and I didn't enjoy playing the game in any capacity anymore.

but i think your problem isn't really with other people, but actually more with yourself an how you perceive something. people talk to other people about things that they want to talk about and get an opinion on, but large communities are so saturated with people who take and make everything so personal that it's not even worth addressing someone seriously half the time

been a part of many long standing communities where all of the members are friends and no one gets bent out of shape about a joke. say something about how computers aren't supposed to be in kitchens as a joke those people who are all friends are more likely to just rebound or get over it. in a larger, more saturated community you're going to get called a moronic misogynist and be told that you're the scum of the earth because you tell stupid jokes that aren't funny.

I think it comes down to ignorance. All these people who didn't know CT came before Coils in terms of progression are in shock that an update is not for them. It is stupid to think that you love a game so much and yet fail to read up on what's coming next. This has been known for a long time and all these threads are just popping up now.

This content helps on the endgame for multiple classes, since there were complaints about not much to do and myth cap not letting you gear multiple classes. But, now that I think about it, it wasn't complaints about gearing multiple classes, you just wanted to have all your myth gear in a week and then be done with it.

This content also helps to gear people for coils. Having a full party with ilvl80 gear will make coils a lot easier than ilvl70. Titan will be easier on pugs. This is basically a nerf to get everyone up to date on content for the release of 2.2.

I have a solution for you ignorant whiny people, unsub until 2.2.
