God forbid they copy similar QoL elements from other major MMOs...only to realise there was a reason those elements were implemented and not removed later on to which they then decide to add their own versions after many complaints/suggestions...
I am not sure what you are aiming for here.
Is it a defense? If so its a very weak one.
Some of the ideas are QoL such as vanity and tells in duty. Not a big deal, you can live without it, even though there are vanity items which makes one scratch their head.
The rest are not.
Being unable to kick people from a party means a single person can hold a run hostage.
When its a single DPS its not a problem, but when its a healer or a tank you end up having to at a 15m cooldown because a single person feels like being a douche.
What is worse is if that person disconnects, and you choose to be nice and wait for them, you don't get a second prompt to replace them.
You get only one chance to replace someone, don't use that chance? GG, you're now 3 manning the dungeon, which at low level can be very difficult.
Not being able to invite someone into the duty is also horrible.
You lose a tank? Ha, might as well quit and restart the dungeon because you are going to be waiting an eternity for it.
Latency? Can't play the game properly if there is latency.
Rendering issues? Inexcusable, there is no reason to have area events like Odin, with many people around, and then play hide and seek for 15 minutes because you're not close enough to prioritize his rendering.
Unable to switch classes in duty? I would dare say this is very important. Not being able to kick would not be nearly an issue if it were possible to switch jobs.
Many people bash on RIFT for being similar to WoW but their ideas are extremely good.
There is no excuse, and there is no reason to be adding "their own versions" for thing such as vanity slots.
Now if you are being sarcastic for them taking their time to release their own variant, then I agree. Some of the design choices are just...odd.
Particularly the design for rendering mobs.

This would be a result of those of us in 1.0 who blazed through dungeons with six BLMs and annihilated everything then changed to a boss setup and while oftentimes refusing other DDs that didn't have BLM leveled and geared as well.
