That it still applies to a class is absurd to even increase it before every class has its complete "Weapon Set" from BC confirmed, what use do I have for a 1hand sceptre when I am lacking lots of stats from a missing shield, might aswell stick to the classy Relic and lose overall dmg.
They should change the name of the Relic weapon to AF weapon like in ffxi and make a new quest, harder for a Relic weapon, better stats and awesomeness looking.

Relic in XIV =/= Relic in XI. Just like Meteor in VII =/= Meteor in VIII. Or many other examples.
One game does not dictate nor have to equalise what the other has to be in future games.

Even if they make the Allagan BLM shield i95 and drop somwhere it's still a slap in the face to require two drops to equal other classes who only need one. They really need to rethink how they handle offhands.
I agree, I'll be okay with it IF the total stats for both items are a little higher than a 2-hander like most MMO's do since it requires two different pieces.

How about you base your reasoning on current statements. Live Letter X clearly stated that the reason for Allagan weapons to be upped to itemlvl95 is cause the effort it takes to get them should resemble in their itemlvl which is why they are upped to 95. Relic+1 was never part of this and IF they would upgrade Relic+1 as well this would make the whole reasoning behind it completely void.
Also...they already said there is gonna be a Questchain for Extreme Primals that will reward a itemlvl90 weapon...the question indicated that it has a story behind it...why would they reward a itemlvl90 weapon at the end, when it's used to upgrade your Relic+1 to itemlvl95...logic...common sense...
To any reasonable person it should be out of the question that Relic+1 stays itemlvl90.

I feel like I wasted my time on the relic weapon and +1. I want a refund of my +1 and make my weapon back to how it was please
How was it a waste when I can only assume due to your gear that you have not even touched coil? Why do you need to have a single item upgraded 5 ilvls when you do not even do the content said item is from? Twintania is not easy, you are not doing it with your current gear or with a regular relic, hell if everyone felt they could do the fight without anyone having relic +1 it still most likely would not have been killed.
It's 5 ilvls on a weapon which will translate to(after the core stats and single weapon dmg increase) 1%(if that) of an increase over full ilvl 90 gear and relic +1. A single percent, wtf is that going to do when you run nothing but wp or ak, hell whats it going to do in coil even? Square feels people who finished coil deserve a little something more than an ilvl 90 allagan weapon that it put to waste when everyone that kills Twin already has relic +1 because relic +1 is required by the majority if not all of the group to get a kill.
Now if you seem to believe that items will never increase in power in this game and somehow an ilvl 90 weapon would remain the best for the entire game then LOL. They took the vertical progression route when designing the game, if it's horizontal you want then I've heard Guild Wars 2 is still semi decent and the best gear in that remains the absolute best gear.

Forseen issues with with this change:
BLM has no shield to match with their allagan weapon
PLD shield is a turn 1 drop yet it is part of the weapon set statwise so the stats need to go all on pld weapon or shields need to also be i95
Other items on twintania loot table receiving no upgrade but still require killing the harder content, loot needs moved to lower turns.
