We double checked with Yoshi-P and what he mentioned during the stream is correct. Only Allagan weapons will have their item levels increased to 95. Sorry about the confusion!

In the translation it was allaghan weapons AND Relic +1, so that the i90 extreme primal drops are not quite functionally equal.

Don't forget that part. Relic +1 will also be i95.

You guys understand that even if you were to defeat turn 5 -> being lucky enougth to drop ur allagan weapon, you would never ever use it in coil... right? loosing 30+++ acc is something i couldn t afford myself. So yes u could probably use it during speedruns and myth capping... and look cool! but that s about it.
Im curious to know what yoshi and the all mighty dev team have to say about it.

uhh there's lots of way around the accuracy issue, eat accuracy food, mix and match myth and allagan gear, penta melded jewelry. When it's bumped to i95 some might even get accuracy stats.

That is a statement I still haven't found any confirmation for. I think Reinheart said it in his Live Letter Translation, but there is no official statement about it and I don't think Relic+1 is actually gonne be upgraded as well, cause that's the whole point of upgrading Allagan Weapons, to make them slightly stronger than Relic+1 cause of the effort it takes to get them. At least that was Yoshidas reasoning behind it.

While relic weapons are currently the most powerful, when we release weapons stronger than them, we plan on making it possible to enhance relic weapons. So with that said, keeping relic weapons as a base, we'll look into enhancements so that their stats can catch up to others if they lag behind.

Then what is the point of any weapons ever being added again? You can get relic+1 before even taking a foot into coil, RAID not dungeon gear should within reason have the best gear available for most if not all slots for DoW/DoM.

They are far to easy to get for ilvl they are, im also pretty sure your quoting a dev who made a statement prior to the statement made in the liveletter that relics are far too common and they are not happy with it. Why would they then do a 180 and proceed to make them top tier again?

..because maybe, just maybe, it never WAS a 180, and that highest relic tier was always designed to be functionally equal to the best dungeon weapons.

This logic is flawless, if Relic is buffed up with the upcoming extreme modes, then why on earth do we need the quest reward Ilvl 90 Weapon, looks like the same garbage like Titan Hard Drops.

Oh and also, flawless thinking of increasing Allagan Weapons to 95, when there is no shield for casters ingame yet!!!!1111!!!!!!11!!!!1
