You want people to stop lying about Coil experience?

If you have this problem you could start your own group and take similar inexperienced players and progress together. People who have done it before want to play with people on the same level as them. Everyone did start somewhere, and most people started with a whole group of inexperienced players.

They started with other inexperienced players. Once they got experience, they chose to only want to play with other experienced players. It's not their duty to teach you the fight when they had to learn it themselves.

And? Not everyone has the patience to teach half the server the fights. Once they and a few others have learned it, they are under no obligation to teach everyone else. If they CHOOSE to do so, so be it. But they don't have to. Thinking they have a poor attitude if they don't, is wrong.

Then how about a lot of you guys stop demanding experience so you can cheese through a quick run. God it's like the video game interpretation of the UK job market.

Moral of the story? If you put a requirement that extends beyond the video game architecture, something that cannot be represented or shown to you in game, people can and will lie about it.

Hey op we're not running a charity here, everyone running coil started from somewhere and I don't remember lying about experience or crying on forums as my start on coil.

Here's a hint: the groups you want to play with aren't the ones asking for experience. Be the change you want to see.

I'm always up for teaching new people, and if I have the time to teach new people -- I will be doing just that.

Unfortunately, there are situations where time restraints make it next to impossible to invite people who don't know what they're doing if we are looking for a win that night. My Coil static runs starting at any point between 1am and 2am EST. Our schedule is so late because some of our members work that late (one person doesn't get home until midnight his time). Our runs are already limited due to the fact that maintenance always happens during our coil times, so we simply do not have the time to teach new people unless we feel like sitting up until 4am.
