Why even bring Mr. Happy in the picture? Sure SMN is strong in prolonged fight, sure BLM is good in blowing up Dreadknights, to each their niche.

Paladin have shield yes it's good, but all that was factored in when doing the calculations for why Warrior is likely to be the stronger tank. Sure the only valid point I'd give you is that Warriors do not have the flexibility of calling their CDs at any time. But seriously that is a minor issue that can be rectified by Infuriate. The shield does not put the Warrior in a stat deficit position, only gripe you want to complain is that Paladin gets to choose a 2 option upgrade.

The only thing strong about Paladin is his Sword Oath and Hallowed Ground. Other than that consistency of mitigation come 2.1 will put Warrior in a favorable position.

Exactly this. I don't make posts in the German forum because meine deutsche ist nicht sehr gut, aussie j parle francais mais c'est terrible, so I don't post in french either.

I particularly loathe the OP's concept of MT vs OT. Paladin's are not all inherently Main Tanks, neither are Warrior's. Everybody else in this thread seems to get that, as it depends on the group setup. (IE, if you have 2 PLD tanks in one run, one of them needs to OT . . .)

With my WAR, I MT stuff all the time if it is more suitable, or if my WAR is more qualified than the PLD I'm partied with. IT has been speculated that WAR will be over powered @ 2.1. No, we don't really know how exactly off set it will be until after we try it.


I can't really post together either a supporting statement, or argument, to the original poster, as I really don't understand what the point was. Other than to give all fluent English speaking tanks a headache.
