I would think....

PLD can reduce the damage they take. With the new storms path, WAR can drop the damage the the boss throws. Why not have the WAR as OT still helping the PLD survive more?

We should be able to MT after the patch... which is great. But honestly, the tanks need to work together just like the SCH and WHM do.

the best part of the WAR changes, IMO are that they synergize so well with PLD. I think this will at least help people get over the "2x PLD only" epidemic. WAR/PLD will be the way to go. and, IMO, each class has the ability to MT and OT. PLD might be the better OT bc they can cover for MT, and pull hate back/go invincible to let group re-group themselves...

SMN and BLM is burst VS dot dmg. Can't say one is better than the other. Totally different kinds of damage type roles.
