    I've been disappointed since long time ago, i don't feel any adventure feelings at all.

    There's no dangerous place (lvl1 can explore all worldmap) and everything is about Duty Finder, entering instance from anywhere, any cities or Innroom.... Mostly new generation gamers nowadays want everything easy and fast

    This game is a slap in the face to all of the people who stuck around the entire time in 1.0...
    At least logging on and getting that rare drop from diff. dungeons in 1.0 was exciting and awesome when you got it. I'n already basically full BiS... and so is my entire FC....

    Are you suuuure you mean "1.0"? As in, the initial launch of FF14? As in, the really really bad one? Not the later PATCHES that improved the game immensely? You suuuuure you mean 1.0?

    Positive bro. I had a reason to log on every single day in 1.0 --- Relic weapons were hard to get. Garuda needed a good group of geared people to complete and the weapons were 2nd best in the game. Dark Light gear (OR THE BEST GEAR) wasn't a joke to get in the game. Mobs could be farmed for various items because crafting wasnt a joke to get to 50 - - - Each mob in the game had a purpose for a specific craft level. Gathering wasnt a complete joke where you could farm 200 of an item within an hour only to flood the markets and drop the price. You needed so many materials in order to get your way to level 50 and even then the materials were still used in spiritbonding ..... ANOTHER complete joke in this linear stat game...

    so you're talking about 1.23, not 1.0. The original 1.0 have nothing of this. In fact, it had nothing AT ALL.

    Alright, that's fine then - I agree that rare loot drops are a fantastic way to encourage people to continue doing content they've already done, or have harder content where you can only get the best of the best gear there. The latter is the case for Coil, but outside of ADS furniture pieces (and potentially the primal pieces too) there isn't anything really rare that you can get at lvl 50 from repeated content. I think Relics ARE a lot easier to get than they should be, but I think the relics are going to scale with difficulty - as in, you may have gotten your Relic to +1 by grinding tomes, but perhaps you need to complete Extreme Primals to get it to +2, and then even harder content for +3, and so on and so on.

    I think the main reason this problem exists is we are in 2.0, which was the point of my original post. 1.0 started very lackluster and later evolved into a decent MMO, then got shut down and rebuilt. Everyone coming in at 2.0 need to catch up to everyone who started in 1.0 and they want to get this done as fast as possible - that's why DL is so easy to get, that's why Relic is so easy to get, that's why there's only one end game raid. Unfortunately for Legacy players, the game isn't quite for you just yet. 2.2 and beyond I'm sure we'll see more expansion on true end game, but for now every new player needs to get caught up (which is why 2.1 is introducing more paths to get to Coil quickly).

    Speaking of gathering, though, I think that "Treasure Hunting" will be a more complicated method for getting rare crafting items so we'll see a return of that. I'm all for having more things to do for everyone, I just think they want to get everyone to the point where everyone can be grouped together, that way all content can be intended for EVERYONE rather than just the casuals or just the hardcore.

    This is also what I meant but I wasn't around for the launch of 1.0 so I only know that actual "content" existed later on. Which is fine, and that's how I see 2.0 going.
