Extreme Modes, Main Storyline, Seriously?...

He say main storyline, but i think it's used in the way as "a important part of the story", just like hard primals and binding coil are important for the main story even after the main scenario quests are over.

That's not quite it. Main scenario is not over after Praetorium. It's just a new chapter of the main storyline.
And by the way, it's not a problem if Extreme fights are in the storyline if people can't clear Coil to get there. And Coil IS part of the storyline.

Hard Modes Primals + Coils are part of the Storyline. So what's the complain here exactly ?

Well, the prerequisite for extreme primal is titan HM. Titan HM is not part of the main storyline. Neither is coil. Extreme primals will be the same. It is optional but you have to beat them to get the best gears. Beating all three extreme primal battles will get you an ilvl90 weapon.

Did you clear turn 5? Pretty sure Coil is part of the main story - You may get confused with the generic Quest Grind nature of this game so it's understandable.

Yoshi has been saying all along that as new content is released the difficulty of old content will be relaxed. Nobody is getting locked out.

Based on how Yoshi described the EX Primals, I bet they are all down within a week. Expect to see EX Primal selling within a week (assuming there's enough reason to make a market for it). CT will be down in a day, same with all of the 4-man content. Good King Moogle, also down in a day.

At least there will be PvP, the last bastion of hope for this patch keeping a lot of us that are working on TT but have cleared all of the rest of the content.

Also housing, can't forget that!

I'm not advocating more mega difficulty content, that will be blown through too. What this game needs is a larger meta. Other games accomplished this with GvG, open world PK, open world raid bosses, ect. I realize that Yoshi wants PvP optional (which given his DAoC days, blows my mind - but whatever). With that off the table, he needs to innovate something. This game is missing something to bring it all together.

Seems a bit silly to add an extream mode when they have not added the other primals yet, unless the next ones are so much more powerful than an extream mode Titan that they require item level 100-200 gear, if they plan to add them.

Like CoP in FFXI Yes it was hard and annoying at times, but the reward was worth it. This will be the same.

Zilart had the superior story by far and Aht Urghan was amazing. CoP I hated and wished I had those years back after completing it.

Anyone remember DBZ where Frieza would spend like 3 episodes transforming and all the heroes just sat there like "Man, that guy is steadily gaining power! Let's sit here and do nothing and act surprised later that this happened". That's pretty much how I feel about HM and EM Primals at this point.

A little offtopic, but I think Goku actually wanted Frieza to gain maximum power so he could beat him at his strongest. Silly Saiyans

Which is ironic, because CoP was the gap closer of Zilart's Storyline and AU/WoTG filled in the blanks. CoP had the best flow and felt more like a progressive story.
