Long long time ago,
There were only few game(RPG) in the market and it makes FF series be famous and popular.
Nowadays, Not only Korea, CHINA, Taiwan, etc many many company join into this market.
However, SE fired many engineer and tech staff when Wada(和田) become the company leader.
So, I don't believe SE have enough power to "patch up" FF14 not "Remake" FF14....
(since SE planning another BIG MMORPG and start around 2011 Q3...)

At 2008 annual report, that will be a BIG MMORPG after FFXIV. It seems release this year.

Finally, Its only my opinion, Since Sony PSN hacked, I don't believe PS3 version will release within 1 or 2yr.
Also,MMORPG on PC should be much more marketable.
(Just look for SEGA , they ONLY release PC ver PSO2. But dont forget their PSO grown up from DC)

Why are we bothering with this crap? Not only is it lacking any credible source material, its in a different language. Unofficial translations are bad enough, and Google Translate hardly makes any sense. Besides the rest of this delirious and hardly readable post, the other MMO is to be *announced* this year, not to be *released* this year. Big difference there.

What you don't believe is irrelevant. The PSN hacking didn't stop developers from working on the platform. Yoshida has recently restarted to talk about the PS3 version, so it's very obvious that it'll be released.
