RUMOR: PS3 release/PC fees restored on August the 14th?

Wanna know something crazy? Most wireless routers now come with Blizzards Ports already forwarded.

Nope you have to go to your Firewall and allow it to be forward but it set up there for your use tho my routers have blizzard ports i just have to put it on which computer i want to use it. So at the end you still have to do it by going to your Routers firewall even setting it up take no more then 5mins i should know i have my own 512Slot TS3 and 8slot Vent host on one of my computer if ppl don't want to do it then ok deal with the slow download to SE fix it then ;;

I think ppl get slow DL speeds because the patcher gets congested (happen in ffxi) when I updated my game, took me 1hr mostly because I had to get admin PW and restart it XD. So far I haven't had an issue so far. Try waiting till the next day if you get a slow DL.

As for content etc. They are adding some wuth and after battle changes. If they add too much too soon people will just burn through it that much faster. Plus it would be a bit dumb that ps3 users who were suppose to be on with pc useres get to play massive catch up due to pc ppl feeling they need an expack with ps3 launch. Like everyone most @ least myself, wanted to play a "fresh" game not a game with a years worth of content and most of the player base is maxed out. We/I want a game to grow with. Not play content catch up where most of the player base is ahead and it is hard to get people for content i'm on.

this game needs dungeons. and I'm not just talking about instanced dungeons. they need castle freaking zvhal. I wouldnt drop a dime on just running from city to city through pretty fields.

I must compliment Yoshi-P on everything he has done to turn this game around. A lot of the changes are welcome and much needed. Looking forward to the new battle system.

But a massive LOL to them if they think this game has enough content to get me to start paying monthly for it. Unless there is a lot of stuff that hasn't been announced yet. What I really want in a MMO is a big diverse playground to run around and do various things in. I'm sorry, but I'm bored to tears with the 3 starter zones and the other 2 zones really aren't appealing to me, cause I assume they are just more of the same environments copy/paste'd to make the area be 5 times bigger than it should.

FFXI got me excited to explore new areas. FFXI got me motivated to level so I could get high enough to go to new areas. FFXIV feels like a big chore right now. I level for the sake of leveling, not because I really want to. I do it, cause there isn't anything else to do. Hate to bring it up, but with TOR on the horizon and LotrO's expansion, SE needs to sell me on this game. I'm not paying for 3 MMO's at a time and right now, FFXIV is a very distant third in terms of exciting me about what's coming.

I can see the ps3 launching around august or September, or maybe a beta test in august and release in September similar to how it was last year for the pc version. But don`t be surprised if there is no beta since unlike with the pc where everyone has different hardware, drivers, OS and so on, the PS3 is the same for everyone. We already know the PC and PS3 will use the same servers so long as the game itself is polished and they create a polished ps3 version that runs fine on their ps3, it will work on all ps3 and there really wouldn't be a need for a ps3 beta.

You seem to forget mmo are on going and can release more content after ps3 launch. By everyones standers in this thread. the game needs 8 years wth of content before it is pay worthy. At least thats what it read to me.

MMO are never finish always ongoing projects. They only delayed ps3 for 2 reason ram, and to "fix" the pc version not add to it. Personally I feel there is enough content (after the introduction of dungeons) to launch the ps3 version. Then they can add more content a mnth after. And an expac by next year. It isn;t SE fault you burn through comtent.

Ps you must have forgoten they doing a welcome back event. And do plan on adding the missing genders. by ps3 .

Nothing has changed since release and people hated the game at release. If they release the PS3 version and SE is met with the exact same response, then this game is over. PS3 is the game's only hope.

But they need to beat Blade&Soul to market so I guess we will be seeing another rushed release LOL.
