Lightning on the horizon (Lightning FFXIII event)

Honestly I give this event a 6 out of 10. The two main reason is depth of the story and over reliance of FATE. We never really engaged in conversation with Lightning much to find out who she was or how she come to Eorzea. It would have been nice to have a few side quest that expanded on this. As far as FATE you really need to use more of the resources you have. Chapter 4 boss would have be much more enjoyable if it was a 8 man trail similar to primal fights.

On a side note I was upset that you didn't have the bow fold up when not in use. That would have been awesome.

I was actually quite surprised with the story in the event. It was rather well-written and enjoyable to experience. Also, getting to fight enemies we recognise from XIII/XIII-2 is really nostalgic and I hope they include this content more often. One thing though, I would support the items being armoire-storable but I understand why it's an issue (the words "PS3" and "memory management" come to mind). But overall - thank you devs!

What do you want me to say to that? We're all Final Fantasy XIV fans, surely. If you don't like the event, don't do it - simple as that. You are not entitled to demand that Square Enix make content that specifically pleases you, I'm afraid. If you feel differently, by all means, appeal to them and suggest appropriate content for the future.

Being negative all of the time does nothing than make our community look bad. Try and think of the positives!

I no need to be a @fan@ to see what I see and to express my opinion. To criticize. I see bad-created events created mostly only for @fans@. Im not going to become FF @fan@ to make this events interesting for me. I event dont need to play another MMO to realize- these events are crap. Useless wasting of time. SE event didnt make a function of COSTUME to put on all these useless gear atop the main gear

I dont understand your fan argument. FF is, has been, and will be for fans of the series, just like warcraft or any other game. If not a fan then what are doing here. May as well be at a baseball game complaining its not golf. That said the event was a bit lacking and the overuse of the fate system for everything has quickly aged. Bad enough grinding them is only real way to level another class, but they are overcrowded and messy makeing them unenjoyable for events and story.
