New Job will be DEX based?

Class =/= Job. Classes are more difficult to release because it requires the guild house to go with it. I'm sure musketeer will be along soon though because Merlwyb's character model is obviously a musketeer. Though I would not expect such a change until after 2.2 at least.

As far as new Jobs are concerned, they can easily be added because all it requires is an NPC and Job crystal. They can also be built on the classes that already exist. I personally believe a new STR based tank classes to be released for the LNC class. The guild quests for the Lancer's guild seem more tank related than DPS. As far as a new DEX based class, maybe a Sharpshooter job for archers?

SCH doesn't stack PIE but the bonus it gives to the group is PIE.

honestly, the design of the game is too simple, unless thf/nin is ranged, it wont be using dex, sadly i really want those both next.....alas, as long as they add more classes for fun, that will be better than nothing

A true ranged DPS, like a Ranger or Musketeer, would definitely be nice. But I'd gladly put up with no other DEX class for a while to get DRK/THF/NIN.

I bet it will be muskteteer as the class, ranger as the job. I was so pissed when they announced that archer was becoming a bard... I want to be a Ranger!!

i think corsair is typically the job upgrade for musketeer.
