Yeah... ask Blizzard how much profit they had when they listened to "the community" at the end of WotLK and made the next expansion and patches harder and longer.Too bad SE is trying to make money. If SE go by your logic and just tell people "if you don't like, don't play!" instead of taking their feedback and applying changes and fixes... I'm not sure if this game will live long. Not saying I support every single complaint on this forum, but people that say "if you don't like, don't play!" always make me laugh...
It's better that people voice what they don't like than just leave the game quietly. It's more healthy for SE, for the game, and for the community in the long run...
(spoiler: 2m subs lost)
Not that I care concerning people complaining or attitudes or how bored someone is, all that has little to no meaning for me. Now you are making a logical falicy concerning the state of WoW where you seem to think it's because the content in Wow was made too hard in pandatown? You think THAT's why people left? Get real. Please don't go to law school.
Actually, after WoTLK came (ugh) Cataclism. One of the main complaints about that expansion was the difficulty level for Heroics. Wrathbabies couldn't cope I imagine. Not that I care concerning people complaining or attitudes or how bored someone is, all that has little to no meaning for me. About the topic at hand? Well 15$/€ per month uis quite cheaper than any analist will charge.... It is true that there a many problems with teh game, but surely screaming and whining on a forum isn't the best way to deal with them and doesn't foster any form of discussion.
Saying "This sux" or "Not enough content" is akin to hope that it will stop raining because you are unhappy about the weather
That has nothing to do with what I said. This thread is telling people to just leave the game instead of voicing their concerns. But people shouldn't just "shut up and leave" As you claim they should. They should complain in the forums and then SE can decide to which complaints they listen and to which they don't.
I didn't play WoW but if Blizzard did lose so many subscriptions for listening to their customers as you claim they did, then maybe they took the wrong decisions. But it's their fault for taking the wrong ideas out of their player base. If you tell everyone to shut up, it will also shut up the good ideas the players can offer.

They listened to a vocal minority (hardcore raiders) exactly like Anet listened to the wowtards asking for gear grind.I didn't play WoW but if Blizzard did lose so many subscriptions for listening to their customers as you claim they did, then maybe they took the wrong decisions. All in all, devs should only listen to bug reports and stick to their guns, because whatever choice they will make, a part of the player base will find a reason to quit or complain.
At least that way, the game might not be a success but it will be the game they wanted to make
That's the point, if the game will fail - It won't be...
SE want to attract new players as well as maintain their current community, and I don't see how telling people to just leave if they're not happy, will help SE achieve that lol...
Maybe my logic is just wrong ( > . >
No it's that you don't understand or even try to understand. No one is saying people to leave, OP is saying "If you think the game is crap (or partially crap), instead of spending your time filling the forums with pointless, non-constructive whines and flame wars, go to play something that you enjoy". No one is saying nothing about complaints that lead to discussion. SE knows well that after 1-2 months games shed people:the locusts jump on another game, the wowtards go back to wow, and so on... Honestly, if you ask my opinion, they went too overboard with the dumbing down and 'speed levelling' and this will in the medium term hurt the game a lot, but that's just my personal opinion and I am not going to start threads over thread about this.
