    I don't understand the need for beta. Dcuo was available for ps4 at launch, so ffxiv should do the same thing. No need to delay for months. They have enough time to test its compatibility before feb 22 to just release the full game.

    I'm pretty sure they waited for the initial sales of ARR to decide IF they even bother with a ps4 client. which is understandable, considering the way 1.0 went
