As others have said, this particular issue is the only reason I might quit.

Kind of amazing that there hasn't been some kind of response or acknowledgement from SE considering this topic is easily the most popular on the english forums.

I've read so many players saying the exact same thing. "Love the game, but can't play properly, won't pay for that." Myself included. It's just a shame that all the good work put into ARR goes down the drain for underlying technical reasons—bad choices by SE aggravated by their silence.

In the exact same boat and it's frustrating. When I played the Beta none of the content I saw had this issue. There were 'big hits', but it wasn't insta-kill and you could power through it if you wanted. My laggy butt tanked things like Cancer a few times. Dungeons were fun and creative with different twists on them that made sense ("Don't stand in the water here, this guy is electric!" "Kill the fires before they get to him and explode!" "Don't let this guy beat down the wall!" "He'll attach his life-force to the adds and become invincible, kill them first!" "OMG bunnies everywhere!")
Now we get to the higher level content and is there much of anything besides avoiding things that will kill you instantly? I thought I bought Final Fantasy, not Dance Dance Revolution.
