Why is there still so much to do at end game?

If you having fun doing the same 2 instances over and over and enjoying a slow as combat system with next to no progression and looking the same with no vanity system on release then sure you can have derp fun.
You would think that ppl would wake up . I mean cmon you have to admit. With the amount of hate this game gets in the forums you think at least 1 of the 100s of issues raised would have been addressed. But alas... NO
Even forums posts with Requesting DEV responce dont get answered..

For the umpteenth time: Not everyone plays the game the same way or has the same goals. And no one is wrong.

In my opinion, if you have to grind content, then there is a lack of content. Flame away.

In this game, to beat the Coils, you need to be properly geared. To be properly geared, you must grind. If there was enough end game content, one would progress from dungeon to dungeon to dungeon and at the end be sufficiently geared to beat the final dungeon. Maybe this concept is unlike every other mmo in the world... fine. But if it was like this, then there would be no complaints... ok, someone is still going to complain... probably on par with you, that there is too much content; a concept I cannot remotely fathom.

I've played SWTOR since release. I find the lodestone forums to be 'friendly' compared to that. even YOUR ignorant, insulting, posts seem 'friendly' compared to what I saw over there (before I left the forums for good, because they brought forth the worst in me and I stopped enjoying the game every time I visited *cough*cough*)

the problems of this games are NOT the issue of this topic. I reply in the topics about the PROBLEMS when I see them too, because I like talking about stuff I actually witness. and what I know is that I have fun. how I should 'admit' that I am not having fun is something that just won't make any sense to me.

ask me what I don't like about the game right now and I will tell you. but that doesn't mean I don't find enough to keep me entertained for quite a while. (well, I do hope I will be entertained for at least another 5 months since that's what I paid for :P)


ps: I can't wait to start doing Titan Hardmode. I'll rock that ONION HELMET.

I play to RAID. There's no point in an MMO to me without raiding. Everything I do is to raid. Every ounce of money I make is to get myself better food/gear to raid with. Every tome I farm is to get better gear to raid with. Every goal in this game leads to RAIDING for me.

Apparently it's about exploring every inch of Erozea then going back to your inn room to document your amazing adventures in your diary before logging out after 2 hours so as to not "rush" content.

it's about what you make it about, would be my guess. what are the single player games about? is all you remember from VII the last fight, or is it maaaaybe more that quite emotional scene somewhere in the middle? do you remember the gold saucer? did you have fun running around for hours trying to find a way to raise a golden chocobo? did you spend hours getting the right materia?
I sure did.

(and don't even let me get started on VIII and ultima weapon, or the islands of heaven and hell...)
