I agree Rentahamster, but I don't believe the hardcore fans think that this game is perfect. And from reading the posts on rhese forums, all most every agrees this game needs alot of work. And many are offering advice and solutions to the developers.

There has been pressure from the community. It is an issue that is constantly brought up but we just know that it's going to be right on the bottom of the list of things to do for Square, in fact i doubt they would even consider it. I think all we can hope is that future zones are done by someone less lazy and retarded.

Perhaps I imagined it, but didn't Yoshi-P himself claim that redesigns of the current zones was in progress? If not in progress, then certainly in mind, however, they would just take some time.

Personally, I think the biggest problem with the zones isn't so much the copy/paste environments (many MMOs are guilty of this) but the size of the areas themselves and the fact that landmarks or areas of interest are so few and far between. On the other hand, if you do take the time to look around, there are several visually stunning spots scattered throughout like the windmill farm southwest of Camp Glory. If they kept these landmarks intact and just made the areas smaller while including better transitions between zones, the copy/paste wouldn't be so blatantly obvious.

I think that when all the TERA fans leave this game to play TERA, this game and these forums will be better off honestly. 14 is a mess but viion's, Neptune's, gifthorse's, and all the other trolls constant bitching and whining are hindering the true purpose of these forums, which is to get this game in the right direction. Honestly I hope TERA does well, and keeps you all out of the FF 14 forums for good.

TERA does kind of have to do well out west and in Japan or it'll be pretty short lived unless people will get hypocritical when they generally state "MMOs need millions of subs to survive" and say "well TERA is good so its an exception and can survive on low numbers."

The general rule is, you don't post on forums of an MMO you like. You post on forums of an MMO you dislike or upset with because then you can troll and waste your time.

No offense but I believe I saw a video clip of a female caster in TERA, (it reminded me of Bayonetta; I don't like Comedic MMOs) but I could have been watching something else. I just remember she was barely clothed (and while I am a straight male I felt like it was trying too hard with the "sex appeal")

Also, as an owner of everything SE created and published (video game wise) I would have to say that XIV at release was in a desperate need of overhauling (good concepts but god awful executions) and currently as it crawls (because we all know its not really standing just yet) they are going to need to work really hard to keep up to snuff with the newer MMOs coming out.

take it as a complete rumor, but this chinese website posted a piece of news slating the PS3 version of FFXIV and the start of charging for the PC version on August the 14th. No idea of what their source is though

He set up a family account on his laptop and I do not know his account PW. I already got told no because he doesn't want anyone to DL anything yet he went on no-no sites that i said no he can't (still did) and ruined my pc with viruses up the ying yang. Trust me I'm tried unfairly in my family being the black sheep and all. My mom thinks 2 hours on an mmo is "more then enough"

If this comes out to be true.. that gives me more reason they are going to show us something @ E3, to bring in the crowd ( or at least try too) with like an Expansion ( Actually Revealing the Release date @ E3) and throughly explaining the status and changes that will take place when its time to pay
