lmao....those are terrible credentials to try to prove credibility...
My dad works in Xbox, he complains that it's always hot there.
He set up a family account on his laptop and I do not know his account PW. I already got told no because he doesn't want anyone to DL anything yet he went on no-no sites that i said no he can't (still did) and ruined my pc with viruses up the ying yang. Trust me I'm tried unfairly in my family being the black sheep and all. My mom thinks 2 hours on an mmo is "more then enough"

36,000 players on at once as of 7 months ago, with the trendline heading downward. We all know that the servers now are not nearly as crowded as they used to be 7 months ago.
We know what jerks are, and I personally try no to be one. However, you should try not to make so much stuff up.
I dont even think you need to know how many players there are to realise there is not enough for SE to break-even. But ah well, does it matter? As SE will say "so long as people are playing we'll keep developing".
SE and the dev team have already stated that the game will not be where they want it for another 1-2 years. That's about how long it took FFXI to come unto its own. Around 2004/5 is when XI got it's long term fan base. Right now were just testers, and by the end of the year we will be paying testers. I personally would already pay, so I'll enjoy the free MMO, but SE will need to start charging. Probably before years end.
I should say the same with you unless this person was taking down numbers 24/7 it is scetchy graph. over every server. Sorry it needs to be SE saying this proof by your logic.http://blog.esuteru.com/archives/1393492.html

I also just tell you word of mouth if it is "not true" then my dad lied. Not me. As that is what he told me from a buddy of his who work at harmonix.
And no news may infact not mention anything about dev kits as the public may not need to know. Only that games are delayed.
Sadly:SE and the dev team have already stated that the game will not be where they want it for another 1-2 years. That's about how long it took FFXI to come unto its own. 1. Theres to many games out now, including f2p which offer more and are good competitors against all up coming games and current games such as this. XI had the luxury of low competition
2. XI's development cost will have been much-much-much-much lower than XIV's.
3. If SE charge at the end of the year, it will no doubt reduce player base. The player base will only ever increase if there is a reason for people to favour this game over some other game, and right now there is not.
Lets take a classic example of a current game that is currently walking over XIV, and that is TERA both games are next gen, both fantasy and both very much in the eyes of the players. But one thing TERA got right that XIV didnt is content, now they did the same mistake of not having endgame in right at the start, guess how long it took them to address that? 3 months. Dungeons, battle adjustments (a lot more than XIV's) and many other changes.
TERA currently has 100+k active players as known by the last interview and it is only out in 1 country, this is a 70k loss from initial release which had 170k active players. XIV's first 3 month saw a loss of thousands, there was a predicted 600+k sold box's and there is only around (personal guess) 50k of them playing. There is only roughly 100k views per news letter and this includes not playing characters (even not logged in characters). That is a extremely massive drop since release and I really don't see a lot of them coming back.
Comparing this game to XI is silly in every way possible. XI used old techniques, XI was their first major, it was a learning curve, they didnt have 10 years of mmo experience, it was a completely different scene, hell they didn't even have WoW back then never mind hundreds upon hundreds of free mmos.
