Do they even call it AF+1 though? I mean for all we know they are considering the Myth armor to be AF and the set we get before that old AF cause that's what it is isn't it?If it did not matter, then why bother to make your comment? The player base will use what ever terminology it wants (correctly or incorrectly). If the developers call the mythology armor +1, then it is technically +1 and everyone calling it AF2 is incorrect. There wouldn't even be a debate had the vendors simply called it "Draken Armor +1" like it renames the Gae Bolg to Gae Bolg +1.

Yes. However it's not contextual in the game and AF +1 doesn't roll of the tongue as easy as AF2. From a tiered perspective, it's understandable why people would call the mythology gear AF2 when it's basically reskinned affinity armor with updated stats.

I'd agree except that concept art for the new AF (completely new model) shown in one of their videos was blatantly labeled AF2. It may all be player labeled, but having a actual second set that looks completely different would be better labeled AF2 and the sets we have that look the same with better stats are would be better as +1. I don't think a texture swap is enough to consider it a completely different set of AF over just a +1. That may be me though.Yes.
