I personally only buy HQ goods, and only with a name visible. (And a reasonable/not massively undercut price).
yes because i botted a ton of mats, thati farmed using bots which i want to get myself banned from the game i love by using bots, definitely!!!
or maybe I'm in a competition with some FC members and don't want some drama starting over something as petty as a market competition...

In that case you're in an excellent position to collude and price-fix, make some bank.
I always assumed if you make it and list it, it shows your name. If you give to someone and they list it, the name is lost.
yes I see my stuff selling from other retainers all the time. I personally don't like my name to be on it unless I choose it to be. I don't like people knowing who my retainers are. It's just the anonymity that I like.
Personally, I think the signature feature should be optional. I only want my name on stuff that I hand-out as a gift.
If people want free advertisement, glory, and want people sending them tells to craft stuff...that's all well and good; however, not everyone wants that kind of attention.
Not to mention, if SE was so worried about harassment (via /t in dungeons), they should have given this feature a bit more thought.

it actually encourages me to craft all my own HQ gear because i would rather have my own name on the equipment i wear rather than a stranger who i really dont care about that they made it, yet when i am admiring the stats and look of the gear, i always have to see that name like an engraving and its kinda of annoying in my own neurotic weird way, i dont like that feeling.
I just think it's funny when someone in my FC buys something on the MB that I made, because they know I would most likely just give it to them if I had been around.
I'll agree that Examine is somewhat bugged. Or is it by design that you can never see how much spiritbond a person equipment has?
