I believe that, by waiting, they will just waste more time. What could have been 1 more month of development time before launch, will drag into 3 months of development time while live.

So the anti-OP post are basically just "number of classes + jobs". So where is the customization there? Lol. Is a full AR2 PLD different from another full AR2 PLD? I think not, even down to the accessory and skills they are the same. So this game can even have 100+ jobs for all we care, but each and every character is identical to each other.
Thank you! That is all I am saying. The customization is horrible. However, if they had more jobs at least it would be something. The real problem is the exact copies running around. ONE build, ONE armor set, ONE weapon. So the anti-OP post are basically just "number of classes + jobs". So where is the customization there? Lol. yes there's only 9 jobs but those have 8 classes plus 3 gatherer classes and 8 crafting classes that's 28 possible "jobs" you can have crafting and gathering aren't hobbies like in other games they have equipment, quests and abilities, etc.
there is a lot of customization actually, yes in job mode you can only select a few options from 2 other classes agreed, but if you remove your soul crystal your options are much more. darklight armor and allagan armors and weapons can be equipped by the class as well as the job although relic weapons and the lvl50 JSE (ex summoner doublet) can not.

Am I the only one who likes the restrictions to customization? More customization and I feel less and less like a specialized job. I enjoy the jobs as they are now. Maybe more abilities in the future? We can play every job on one character, so if I am bored with one job I switch to another. And let's be honest, in all those MMOs the OP listed each class had a specific specialization set in stone for best dps, tanking, or healing. So really... think about it. How much customization did you really have?
This clearly isn't the game for you then. Also you're a little off about that. Let's just look at iLvl90 for a second, there are two weapons and two armor sets with different substats. It's not a HUGE difference but you can mix and match to change up your build a bit. Your main stats will be the same but you could stack more crit or determination, more skill speed or more accuracy.
However it's not the level of customization that you so crave and I doubt it ever will be. The game will eventually have more jobs so people will have more options. While each job specifically may not have a great degree of customization, the customization for you is in which jobs you choose to play.

That's actually where they should make the difference and fix the issue.yes there's only 9 jobs but those have 8 classes plus 3 gatherer classes and 8 crafting classes that's 28 possible "jobs" you can have crafting and gathering aren't hobbies like in other games they have equipment, quests and abilities, etc.

If they made the base classes viable past 30 we'd have at least double the number of possibilities, possibly more depending on what cross-class skills are made viable. This would actually be a more unique method of branching out than all the games that simply copy WoW's talent trees.
The problem with this right now all classes are inferior to their jobs and not worth using for much of anything. No one is playing CNJ or PUG at 50; they might as well not exist.
I like thinking up Builds. I know it doesn't seem fun to everyone, and even if the build is cookie cutter, I like getting their on my own. Earlier I was looking at THM and wondering if I could Cross Class Skill an interesting build. I noticed that Marauder's Bloodbath skill was Cross Class to everyone. I began to think, HMMM a THM dropping some tasty Fire IIIs with Bloodbath going could be really cool! Whoooops, only works on PHYSICAL damage. So why even allow it to cross? Okay okay... I then moved on to maybe some Archer skills. I had to get it to 15 anyways to go to BLM so obviously it must have some potential for Cross Class Skill coolness. I see that Raging Strikes, nice oh and Quelling Strikes too. Nice nice... then I see Hawk's Eye and I think, THAT might be cool, maybe it adds crit or something. What do my eyes see, DEX increase and Physical accuracy... WHY? Why do they have these Cross Class Skills that are utterly useless? I am so confused by this system.

Oh, please no. I'm sick of trees. Trees were the worst invention to MMO gaming because designers could never balance them properly. You were always told to play this build irregardless of your level of play. I'm glad this game didn't incorporate this feature.
You ask the impossible. MMO's launch then sink in money they've made overtime. What you ask is for someone to sink hundreds of millions at launch possibly over a billion.
