My problem with this amazing game.

yes there's only 9 jobs but those have 8 classes plus 3 gatherer classes and 8 crafting classes that's 28 possible "jobs" you can have crafting and gathering aren't hobbies like in other games they have equipment, quests and abilities, etc.

there is a lot of customization actually, yes in job mode you can only select a few options from 2 other classes agreed, but if you remove your soul crystal your options are much more. darklight armor and allagan armors and weapons can be equipped by the class as well as the job although relic weapons and the lvl50 JSE (ex summoner doublet) can not.
