    You're playing the wrong game then, because FF14's content is as generic as possible, this is especially true for coil. 2.1 also adds nothing creative or unique, simply the same content every MMO has been getting for the better part of the decade. Yoshi himself has said he doesn't create, he just copied great ideas.

    No one is asking for "masochist content", everyone is asking for the actually fun well designed content, like nyzul, limbus, salvage, campaign, forced pop NM's, BCNM's(could be in the form leves, do a lot of leves - > get points you can trade in to undertake a 4-8 man boss leve, kind of like ff14 1.0 had..) and open world RAIDS like sky/sea, but not boring and stupid like them.

    Please stop responding to people and posting your opinion based on what you want(we want boring 48 hour repop nm's and 1000 people claiming a single mob! - no one is saying this) them to say, and not what they're actually saying. Read our posts properly.

    No, I keep saying Abyssea was really great about FF11 and they could add a lot more like that where you can quickly join and leave content without all the time wasting around the older FFXI content (and some of those terrible VNMs that were added later). I'm sure the latest expansion also made FFXI better, but I haven't played seekers. But I'm all for SE going more towards these fun directions, instead of the masochist content that people keep lifting up.     ALL of those ideas can be tuned to make them less Masochistic as you say, and you probably haven't played for awhile because they did tune them down and made them more accessible. HNM's are now force pop, Dynamis you can now enter once per day and doesn't cost you money. I'll keep repeating until it sticks, but there is great Inspiration to draw from events like Nyzul Isle, Besieged, Dynamis, Sky, Sea, etc. All those events are unique and can be tuned down as to be less time consuming but STILL retain their uniqueness.
