We should be able to store event items right away! Or at least shortly after...hehe SE, y u do this? They did this in FFXI too ^^; We weren't able to store event stuff for a good long while after it was out...

This is just plain stupid, so you make a event with no point and rewards that do nothing but take up limited storage space. So what is the motivation to do this event? can we vendor the items or are they going to be like the others that can not be stored or deleted?Hello,
The item team has confirmed that the rewards listed on the Lightning Strikes information page are the total set of items available from this activity and that there are no plans to upgrade the item levels or stats. When the event goes live, these reward items cannot be stored via the armoire in the Inns, or a separate storage option. Also the team hasn't confirmed if any of these rewarded items will have a separate storage option in the future.
All unique/untradeable drops need to be armorie storable in the future. Make this happen in sooner rather than later lol. I haven't got a crystal ball or anything but I don't really need one for obvious stuff like this.
I really don't have the space to store 10+ new vanity items. UPDATE THE ARMOIRE.
I have to agree with the current trend of thought on this. This is potentially a large amount of wasted inventory space for some players, where inventory size is already becoming a limiting factor. I, myself, already have a number of items that I cannot put away but don't want to discard (or in some cases, can't discard, like AF that I have "reacquired" having done them in v1.0). I have no issues with the actual items, or their overall uselessness, but having inventory arbitrarily reduced through items you can't store elsewhere isn't something any player is going to appreciate.Hello,

Event items need to be storable for those who want to collect them. Otherwise, partaking in these events is a choice between desire to collect the items and the desire to keep inventory clear from clutter.
...you can get a retainer that holds 170 items per retainer (you can get multiple retainers).
Which means, let's presume, that you can get three retainers: one each town.
That means you can have 510 places. And you guys are complaining about the Armory not taking the gear.
Come on.
Max retainers is 2 and obviously you don't gather and craft and store your mats. It fills up insanely fast with the number of crafting/gathering/ Caster/ DPS / Tank gear and to top it off most mats you will hold onto are a mix of normal AND HQ versions making it take up double the space....you can get a retainer that holds 170 items per retainer (you can get multiple retainers).

Aaah good to know. So 340 slots.
So you put four slots for the gear until they fix the Armoire. Time to purge, folks!
My level 50 Miner, 50 Armorer, and 15 crafts and Botany would like to have a word with you.Max retainers is 2 and obviously you don't gather and craft and store your mats. fine! but make it possible for ME to hire more retainers, do not limit the amount of storage space I can have, with multiple classes being 50 2 retainers is not enough space!Hello,
