Always wondered this as well. I can understand they want players to be in that seasonal event mood, which is fine but the armoire update doesn't come soon after the seasonal event's end time, it's usually next patch which could be month's away. If 2.2 we're looking at another 3.5month+ to go.

This is just plain stupid, so you make a event with no point and rewards that do nothing but take up limited storage space. So what is the motivation to do this event? can we vendor the items or are they going to be like the others that can not be stored or deleted?

I have to agree with the current trend of thought on this. This is potentially a large amount of wasted inventory space for some players, where inventory size is already becoming a limiting factor. I, myself, already have a number of items that I cannot put away but don't want to discard (or in some cases, can't discard, like AF that I have "reacquired" having done them in v1.0). I have no issues with the actual items, or their overall uselessness, but having inventory arbitrarily reduced through items you can't store elsewhere isn't something any player is going to appreciate.

Event items need to be storable for those who want to collect them. Otherwise, partaking in these events is a choice between desire to collect the items and the desire to keep inventory clear from clutter.

fine! but make it possible for ME to hire more retainers, do not limit the amount of storage space I can have, with multiple classes being 50 2 retainers is not enough space!

Figure some other way to store them then. Inventory is limited especially with the AF glitch still effecting users who have copies of AF gear sitting and taking up space in one's inventory!

So "cannot be stored via the armoire in the Inns" I barley have 12 storage space left as it is right now, how could i even get all these items! Not fun if can't keep these. prob won't waste my time now.
