I love thief, made being a tank in XI less stressful and promoted team unity I always thought.
But seriously, all I want is my DRK back.

Oh I know, I've seen the door that could easily become the guild. I just am looking for an official interview. I've got nothing against people trying to add up what they see, but I like to stick with official announcements for jobs/classes. If I went solely on that stuff alone, the fact that Yoshi told a JP player he'd love to have a gunblade class and the fact they're (the gunblades) already in the game would make a nervous wreck waiting for an agility tankI completely agree with everything you said, but I wanted to add more info to this part. If you go to the Marauders guild in Limsa it shares a large room with another empty guild that has a gun for the symbol. This is right now in 2.0. So this isn't some "oh back in 1.0" piece of information as you can actually go see it right now.![]()
musketeer is not planned for before long, was stated a number of time amazing...Take some of your own advice and "read". The first "class" being introduced will be Musketeer. It was supposed to be here in 1.0, but never made it and ACN took it's slot for re-launch of ARR. Yoshi-P already said he'd like to introduce this when he raises level cap which he hopes to do so in a Major Patch, not an expansion.
EDIT:
Sorry, on topic! Yes I hope THF is implemented soon, maybe Musketeer's Job? or a whole new class (I came up with a class for THF back in Beta forums, but I'd have to dig it out...). Either way I miss THF very much.
they will not make it before we get acces to more technologie.
the best guess is not before we get close of isalbar and the empire, since they are the one using it.
the musketeer of limsa use a simple gun, do that make them musketeer, no...

Not sure if you saw my post a page back, but do you have a link to an official interview or statement from Yoshi about that? I'd love to read it. Although I think the statement about taking its slot is incorrect as the players' poll before 2.0 released had the Summoner/Beastmaster (pet class) win as the next job to be put in the game. I don't recall ever seeing Yoshi (not Tanaka) mention bringing musketeer actually in. In any case, if you have a link please share!![]()
As much as I want a new Job Class they need to work on some of the problems the current jobs have.
it was planned to be the first class added at the release in 2009, but when tanaka did leave and yoshida did take the lead, the musketeer wasn't a priority... is not the case yet.
we do have 5 ranged class against 4 melee, plus the magic and scout class seems to be them high priority actually more than a ranged class with a gun.
Technically, we are missing one more job to share DEX gear with Bard........it was planned to be the first class added at the release in 2009, but when tanaka did leave and yoshida did take the lead, the musketeer wasn't a priority... is not the case yet.

like we are missing a jobs for share leather+strength stuff
they have always said that the class must fit a role for be added, actually outside be a ranged dps with a gun, musketeer have nothing yet, when is simplier to add thief, with all the skill in the final fantasy story.
indeed you can use some jobs that use gun as gunner, machinist... but it will need to add a news crafting class for them weapon, since carpenter nor blacksmith can't make them weapon. i doubt goldsmith can be used for this... it will recquire a new jobs.

You'd probably know more than I do, I just remember reading all of this back in Beta Forums, I wasn't here for 1.0, but I'm guessing you were? Not sure if you saw my post a page back, but do you have a link to an official interview or statement from Yoshi about that? I remember my FC telling me about how Musketeer was supposed to make it in 1.0, which is why it already has a guild in Limsa, but I wouldn't know where to start finding out this info. since I read it all on beta forums. Sorry, I can try and look but I promise nothing XD
