Thief, we want it!

Yoshida, please make your amazing game even more enjoyable by introducing a thief class. (Yes this is a butter up post and no I'm not ashamed.)

Please like and encourage the implementation of a Thief class on this thread if you enjoy the stabby stabby sorts.

I am all for theif, don't care for the class myself but wish it was in. One thing that always puzzled me was Ninja and Samurai, personally in every FF game they were in just felt like pandering. They never seem to fit in the world yet there they are o.O

Why do people keep posting these threads? Do you never listen to live letters or read stuff the Dev's put out? First new job will "probably be something like dark knight" per freaking Yoshi P. Even that new job will be in the next expansion. It will be years before you see stuff like thf or rdm in the game. So many other jobs are lined up first. Yoshi said if he had his way the next job he would put in would be red mage, but its not feasible right now. This is all stuff you can read and find out about if you just do some digging.

I'm undecided if I would like it to be a class or job, so I'll leave that to his team. I do prefer all new jobs start from base classes so not everyone with the class gets an instance level 50 new job and has absolutely no idea how to play it because they didn't level at all playing it, like scholar and summoner.

Take some of your own advice and "read". The first "class" being introduced will be Musketeer. It was supposed to be here in 1.0, but never made it and ACN took it's slot for re-launch of ARR. Yoshi-P already said he'd like to introduce this when he raises level cap which he hopes to do so in a Major Patch, not an expansion.

Sorry, on topic! Yes I hope THF is implemented soon, maybe Musketeer's Job? or a whole new class (I came up with a class for THF back in Beta forums, but I'd have to dig it out...). Either way I miss THF very much.
