I'd like to add a Pro - Lightning is coming to town
I'd like to add a Pro - Lightning is coming to town
Pretty much thisPositive POV
1.) It's a FF game ^^
2.) I'll think of it later
Negative POV
1.) Weekly Myth Cap
2.) Weekly CoB lockout
3.) Crystal Tower will be a down grade
4.) Dungeon EXP sucks/Fates suck and are to easy 70% of people don't know how to play their jobs correctly
5.) No personal housing for 6 months
6.) No new Content to the game for 6months+ (Beside CoB turn 6+)
7.) Crafting is way to easy
8.) No gear Variety
9.) Not enough classes/jobs
I'm sure there are about another 50+ but that's to many to post.
Positive:
1) They worked hard to turn the game around. Nice to know that there is new content coming without me having to buy an expansion pack to play it.
2) I can't wait for FC housing and future personal housing.
Negative
1) I don't like how end game is turning out to be. I don't like doing repeated dungeons to turn in currency for a upgrade in gear. I would like to craft the gear instead. I would also like more open world content, but it looks like new content is fates and instanced stuff (not fun).
2) I'm not looking forward to primal fights because if its harder than titan I wont be able to pass it without seasoned adventures who know how to not make minor mistakes also lag likes to fight against players in winning.
Pros:
Pretty graphics
Faster gameplay than 1.0
Different mounts aside from Chocobo
Music is decent
Cons:
Lack of cross-server friend support (I'd like to play with my other friends on different servers for a change versus random DF d-bags)
D-bags you encounter in DF
Long DF wait time for anyone not playing as a Tank
Weekly Myth Cap (obviously in place to retain end-game fanatic subscribers)
Coil of Bahamut Weekly Lockout (obviously in place to retain end-game fanatic subscribers)
Crystal Tower not available at launch?
Getting generic AF gear between levels 45-50 is too easy versus what it was in 1.0.
Running same end-game dungeons for tomes and items
Melting pot look at end-game (Seriously everyone looks the same now by the time they get to 50 with DL gear at least lol)
FATE leveling (the only efficient way to level)
New players being forced to skip cutscenes for people trying to SR a dungeon.
Small inventory system (I personally want a larger one)
RNG is kind of bizarre for gathering material (I can harvest items with 60% rating more successfully than an item with 80%+?)
RMT Spam
Emphasis on Primal battles (Seriously, Extreme mode Primals? Kind of unoriginal... What's next Super Mode Primals?)
Beginning areas pretty much dead since most players are now at end-game (not surprising lol)
"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding." (Seriously, this statement is just a copy/paste job for any important message from SE or big company. The irony, however, is that we all know you don't actually care about your players/consumers haha).
I could go on, but I will probably get more rage from what I am already going to get for pointing out the obvious flaws that currently exist in this game.![]()

PROS:
- Graphics
- Little details like character movements / emotes
- Towns are pretty cool
CONS:
ALL OF GUCCI_Charms +
- Towns are kinda lifeless / nobody has conversations in /shout cause of spammers
- Crafting is useless
- Materia is useless
- no elemental effects (Serious? it's a FF staple to have fire defeat ice, need wind resistance for garuda/ifrit/titan. Have the elementals absorb their element, etc.)
- Varied monsters are few and far between
- Endgame at 50 is extremely shallow and lazy
Now that patch is delayed, I will not be resubbing for a while...
The lack of Vanity slots annoy me.
This is so called 2.1 patch better be some AWESOME UNGODLY contents... the hype is overwhelming.... I am predicting a big huge outcry of disappointment once the patch hit the street.. Lower your expectation people, or you will be sorely disappointed.
Pretty sure it won't be in by 2.1. Actually I think the people behind character design don't even want vanity at all because they want the characters in jobs to have a very specific look and vanity slots act against that.
