SE doesn't care about anyone in general, only your cash. Not surprising since their Customer Support department is completely non-existent and ineffective.

But if they cared about your cash, NA is the biggest MMORPG market by far. This behavior is NOT what you'd expect from a greedy big company that will do anything for cash. Greedy big companies are supposed to bend over backwards for any chance to get even more money, and that's what worries me because I think the reason SE doesn't do this isn't because they're not a greedy big company, but that they might not even know where the relevent MMORPG markets are.

Maybe reread the op. HE said they should do maint when people are at work/class. 1 pm jst is when JP are at work/class. So saying my defense leaks means you don't even know what I was arguing against.

Not to mention, 6 AM is not a normal JP work/school hour. And they don't get paid overtime there. So, no, it is not a better solution for them.

FFXI still did (does?) fanfest in europe long after they stopped doing it in the states because of the larger market there. I would not be shocked at all to see a bigger euro base in this game.
