Really, another maintenance when I'm off work??? What coast are you catering to? I work noon to 8 pm, east coast (EC), and many others work between 6 am and 10 pm. We stay up late and play your stupid game for whatever reason and get shut down because you think after 11 pm EC is the perfect time to do a 5 hour maintenance. Do it while everyone is at work or in school. Is that so damn hard?? You have paying customers that you need to cater to, period. I don't think I'm out of line when I say that I speak for the working class and people attending classes. I don't know how it is in Japan but here in America, we work when it's time to work and stroke our Pokemon on our own time.

If you are upset like me and want SE to actually read this; like or comment this post because I know they are too lazy or too busy no give a damn to read a nobody's post. They sure as hell have never responded to a single one of my GM calls.

Yes, except, the maintenance schedule invariabl\y hits the same people, and with the freaking ridiculous amount of maintenance in the last couple of weeks, there is a sizeable number of players who have lost several days opportunity to play. I mean, why not rotate the maintenance hours so that the impact is distributed fairly across the whole population? The way it's been done always impacts certain people. My playing hours are generally 10-11pm central US through 2-3am Central US. Go back and look at the last 2-3 weeks and see how many days my playing time has beein interrupted by maintenance. I pay the same sub as you, so why should my playing time be significantly reduced by maintenance? Where's my discount?

If the hours were rotated so that maintenance doesn't always hit the same players - it would at least be fair.

People need to understand that there is both a SE of Japan and SE of North America. They're running one build of the game across two separate data centers.

Sometimes the Japanese development team has to do maintenance, sometimes SENA Data center maintenance and sometimes SEJP has to Data center maintenance.

The need for maintenance is not under question, the timing is. If you constantly hit the same people with an outage, those people get pissed.

To be clear, I wasn't defending these maintenances, because honestly, I wish I was playing right now. Unfortunately, I have no control over these maintenances, so I can only play when the game is available. Complaining will not stop the maintenances, and no matter what the schedule may be, someone will be angry.

By "everyone is in school/work" I'm assuming you mean for the NA crowd. Because there are other countries in the world with different time zones. There's this one place called Japan where this game was actually developed.
