lol nerf it? it isnt that hard, honestly, the 2 biggest killers are stupid people and lag
telling op to get friends? its obvious he will have trouble with his people skills, talking down about the people he plays with

I havn't seen Coils yet, but I could only assume in a end game content (coils) I would assume you are practicing to dodge any type of damage that is avoidable before entering the most recent content. Weight of the Land's cast time seems find on a normal day, A.K.A no latency or lag at all. Dont hesitate to dodge stuff, thinking about what to do is worse than just moving out of the way.One thing S-E can do is not allow multiple stacked plumes to count separately. Another is to extend Weight of the Land's cast time by 1 second to make up for the latency issue. Giving people time and a chance to dodge is not "dumbing down" the fight by any stretch. A real "nerf" would be to cut Titan's Heart's HP by 25%, which no one has even suggested.

When tanking titan, if 3 dps go down I have to dodge WotL. Its certainly doable, but you need to be on point. As said many times already, the 'trick' to titan is definitely memorizing his rotation. Once you have that down and you know know whats coming next its all very predictable.
In 6ish months or so once they release an API we'll all have some version of 'Deadly Boss Mods' that splashes huge notifications around the screen with sound effects and all that to let us know exactly when everything is coming right before it happens. At which point a fight like titan will be a joke.
That's one of the problems I have with this new trend in MMORPGs where the boss fights revolve around these booby traps that appear on the ground you have to quickly dodge or you die. It puts certain jobs - like healers who need to cast or people die - at a big disadvantage.
I actually quit playing my pld healer on WoW because of this. It just become more trouble than it was worth trying to constantly run around dodging green poison while attempting to get heal spells off to keep people alive. It can be very stressful. And I think they should give healers a levitate move or something like that to where they can more easily avoid booby traps while casting.

This, so much...is there another fight in the game where the encounter is designed to force the party to use the limit break? Against Caduceus, ADS, Garuda's clones, Turn 4, even Asclepius and his babies, limit breaks make the encounter slightly easier, but are -not- mandatory. Titan's heart is the complete opposite. Unless you're overgeared, and sometimes even then, the limit break -is- mandatory.
...no choice, no strategy, no damage meter(I refuse to use third party programs), no room for error. When you fail, you have no idea why you failed...who came up short on the damage. A very dull DPS check...the worst part of my favorite fight.
So yeah. Either add a damage meter to the game or cut titan's heart by 25%.
I'm struggling too but I recognize that its in part because I'm relying on bad premades and a hope of landing in a good group. The fight is cake. Dodging is easy and there's more structure to this fight and less chaos than Garuda if people would just realize that staying out of bad is much more important than anything else except during the Heart phase. I don't want them to nerf it. I want players to wake up and pay attention to easy structured avoidance.
Oh don't make this fight easier.
I tried Titan HM today for the first time and failed miserably. I have awful internet but it wasn't lag that was killing me, it was because I hadn't a clue what to expect because I hadn't done any research. Not that I think everyone should do research, learn by doing in the DF is a fine way to figure it out.
But I was with my FC as someone was on their relic quest and wanted to kill Ifrit. I obliged as I've killed him a fair few times. That went smoothly. Next was Garuda, I obliged again as she was on my to do list and I had watched videos. That went smoothly. Titan next. What the hell. I'm in a decent group. I'll learn by doing. I hadn't watched videos and I couldn't remember easy mode as it was a while back since I did it.
But I could not get the hang of the fighht. I was like a bunny in the headlamps when it came to landslides. WotL - nope, wasn't happening. Plumes were exploding on my face before I even seen them. I ended up leaving the fight as I was clearly holding others back. Oh and I reckon I'm undergeared too as stomps were nearly killing me.
But what a great fight. A bit of practise and a bit better gear and it'll be sorted.
Dont nerf him. Some people like the challenge! And I fully expect in a couple of weeks I'll find him a breeze and be killing him for the craic.
Holy F...
If the group can't meet the DPS requirement for the heart, you can assume that either one, or several DPS don't do their Job. A group of DPS in AK gear and WP weapons can meet that DPS requirement EASILY if they know how to play their class.
