I am SOOO freaking annoyed that the Maintenance is ALWAYS during peak hours for NA, which their LARGEST user base. Come on Square could you please pick a better time. Blizzard does there's during the day from 10am-2pm est, please change your maintenance times.

Um... its 11pm est, dude. 8pm pacific.


5pm-8pm is prime time for most people.

8PM Maintenance is a pretty bad time for West Coast NA Maintenance. They should start @ 2AM which is 5AM East Coast, and finish @ 5 - 6AM West Coast/8-9AM East Coast. Will some people get affected? Yes unfortunately. But a heck of a lot less than 8PM at night!!! WTF is Square thinking?!? My suggested time frame most people are sleeping or getting ready for school/work. I will not continue to pay if they continue to "maintain" the servers @ 8PM. At the very least they could wait till midnight West Coast time!

How do you figure that NA/EU is the "LARGEST user base"? We have fewer servers and ALL NA/EU servers are not under login/create restrictions..

I have to add my voice to the OP's.

As someone from New Zealand, every single PC maintenance window starts somewhere between 17:00 and 20:00 for us. While I know that we aren't Square's biggest demographic down here, and I absolutely accept that regular maintenance is necessary on the game, I find it unfair that every maintenance eats a big chunk out of the subscription I'm paying for (and as with many others in New Zealand and Australia).

As it stands, with my 9-5 job, I have reduced (or no) play time one or two days out of every seven. Maintenance is fine, I just wish SE would spread it around the clock, so that it's not robbing the same group of people every time.
