I know it's silly and not a high priority, but I really really really want a barber of some kind.
I chose my character's hairstyle with the fact that an option to change it would become available.
I hope they haven't forgotten this ; ;
I'm also excited for group crafting except I know it'll come when they're ready to put it into the game.
Oh, and the last time I heard something about using surplus for rewards it was in some kind of interview thing and the developers said that they hadn't thought of that and they might look into the idea. Not a promise.
You don't need a reason to help someone~
I'm not sure hairstyle changes were ever promised. The mods did say yoshi-p wanted to give that option in the future though (thats not a promise). The ability to change hairstyles? (was promised)
Rewards for all our surplus "bonus points"? (was promised)
Team-crafting, like building an airship or giant cake (was implied)
Hamlet battles (was listed for early january by old dev team)
A way to get the original game bonuses like onion helm through events (the reason i ask this is because a lot of people had issues unlocking them when the game was released due to a messed up registration system, and as such many people who -should- have got them didn't)
Anyone hear anything about these in interviews or on other language boards?
List anymore if you have them.
They never said surplus would reward players with anything. Early beta testers suggested it reward you with something, though devs did say they never wanted that but would look into it (so not a promise).
Hamlet battles were part of the old development team, so you really can't count that.
Who had problems with bonus item codes? Never heard of that. I have both asuran gloves and onion and didnt have a single problem. I know that means nothing, but I never heard anyone complain their codes didnt work. Not like they're very useful after lv 10 anyway, and that's like what, one or two behests tops?
A lot of people made their characters, started playing, then registered those codes and wondered where the gear was. One of those things that came up so often a macro would've been handy for in-game and a saved message to copy/paste for forums.Who had problems with bonus item codes? Never heard of that. Sometime after beta, but before launch people were complaining about the lack of customization options. Tanaka said at some point there would be a way to change hairstyles in game and that there will be more hairstyles to choose from, so please look forward to it.
As for the surplus points being used, he said they thought that was an interesting idea and they would look into it, it was never promised.
I hope we get these things...

Next question.
SE addressed all these issues but in the end, what happened to surplus bonus. IMO. veteran players should get all that surplus xp back to instantly get a 50 of the new class in 2.0.
I really wish the moderators would lock necro'd threads. zzZ
edit: Also that's a terrible idea and you should be ashamed for even thinking it up.
If WoW has it, 2.0 will have it too.
