I agree with the OP

i'm laughing at people who gear their jobs based on the look vs the stats (and try to defend that as a legit play style)

wait for vanity slots...lol

i'm waiting for the allagan healing body not wasting myth on AF2 >.>

The reason why I did this is because currently the game is not challenging enough to push stats to the limit.

Coils requires barely minimum.
I did coil 1-3 with nothing but a Santa Suit, Santa Boots, a Flower Earrings, and an Ifrit Cane, combined with some AK + lv55 gear.
Coil 4 was impossible with that gear, but I am able to heal Coil 4 without any problems whatsoever.
Currently I only have Allagan Gloves, Allagan Earrings, all other pieces are from AK. Not a single piece of Darklight.

So yeah... Stats doesn't matter as healer, currently.
Once PVP comes along it will be another story.
