Zooming out actually allows me to become a much better player because I can watch and see what's happening on the rest of field. Yes I'm a healer so it's part of my job to be watching out for the rest of the party. Zooming out also helps me dodge incoming AoEs MUCH better though, which is something that all players should be aspiring to do. You're being very narrow minded by saying that you have ONE play style and refuse to try out others. :/
And you're being just as narrow-minded by believing your way of playing is the only way to play. As I said before, I've never had to zoom out in fights before (yes, including Titan HM). I can dodge and see the AOEs fine, but it's just Shadow Flare combined with the color of this ooze makes it difficult to see.

I don't understand what's so difficult to comprehend about that. Even as a healer (Scholar), I've also never had to zoom out, yet I've kept parties alive more often than having them die on me. When did we become such a judgmental people as a community, quick to second guess someone's abilities as a player just because they have difficulty with something that you don't? Some people breezed right through Titan HM while others struggled with it until they were finally able to do it, so Group A is telling Group B that they suck and need to learn how to play the game, yet... I'd be willing to bet that Group B was able to do something else that Group A struggled with and could hang it over their heads as well.

It saddens me that so many players are so quick to jump a player like a pack of wild wolves. Just take a look at most of these replies here. Not once did I see anything that actually supported me in any way whatsoever.

It was mostly just criticism and/or telling me to change the way I play. Yes, I understand how hypocritical that must sound since I'm asking for a Scholar to change the way they play, but is my vision more important than whatever DPS they are getting from Shadow Flare? I'd like to think so.

Regardless, I'm just going to stop coming back to this thread since plenty of people want to put me on public display and tear me limb from limb. Go find another scapegoat for your cause, elitists. I'm done here.

    EDIT:

Yep. I'm all about just coming on here to waste your time as well as my own. Thanks for taking my post with a grain of salt.

*sigh* This is what I'm talking about. Open your eyes, people. You're too quick to judge people.

You've basically slapped a label on me in such a short period of time, it's quite amazing and sad at the same time.

    A. I'm a terrible player
    B. I'm a troll

That's right. I mean, it's not as if I could seriously have a problem here or anything. No no, that would actually make sense. People these days... I swear.

On that note, NOW I'm done.
