I agree with everything OP has stated about the easy modeness of melee. The only solution to this has been the confirmed nerfs to bard. Please enjoy them.

So you would obviously make it so bards could have 2 sets drop all to themselves? Good thinking! Also bards are easymode, melee are a lot harder to play. This is a widely accepted fact, only you seem to think that playing melee is easy when you obviously have never played melee at all.
