There are only one or two fights themselves that were actually changed at all, and other fights were buffed. The main change was how you acquired key items/fight items/pop items.

It was true before the CoP changes and it was true after, since this fight wasn't nerfed at all: If you beat Airship you deserved Sea.
No... easy as in they removed the level caps for these zones.
