IMHO, you should be wise and learn what you should question in life. If a game's maintenance is something worth of interest for you, good for you. But if you think about it, ask yourself, why do you NEED to know THAT? Don't waste your intelligence and curiosity on something that won't give you anything useful.

Whether its a game or anything else "in life"( is that where we are, life? hmm ok.) you shouldn't be left in the closet about why a service you pay for is getting fixed. They can add "we can do w/e the hell we want, whenever the hell we want" to whatever ToS they want to, does not mean they should do that.

SE's customer service was notably worse during the FFXI years and that game still did pretty well. Bad customer service is a given with SE, not that bad customer service has anything to do with scheduling emergency maintenances without providing explicit details. What exactly are you going to do with such information?

Um, doesn't Blizzard have a maintenance every Tuesday and their game has been out nearly 10 years now?

You guys are fiending like crackheads for the two hours you're not getting to play the game. It's such a shame you're not getting your 0.04 worth of entertainment while the game is down, but I'd rather them fix whatever problems the game may be having rather than doing nothing at all and have it run like crap.

I'm not white knighting. On the last page I said that SE has always had terrible CS. I don't have to be defending SE to point out when people are being unreasonable.

Moreover, I have yet to encounter an instance where maintenance has prevented me from playing. So in this subjective observation about "too frequent" I disagree.

There is a large area between four maintenance's a week and nothing at all.

No, I'd rather them not do nothing at all. I'd also rather them shoot for one scheduled maintenance a week like every other successful MMO.
